They were great. Lady serving me dropped my cheese and bacon wrap on the floor, but baked me a fresh one and even offered me a hot drink. Very polite!

And cheese baguette and a vanilla latte here today it was delicious and mum had a jam doughnut, one of the nicest baguette I’ve had in a long time.

A range of sweet and savoury bakery items at really cheap prices. Helpful staff and Covid - friendly. Worth a visit.

Delightful Danish bakery in the centre of Penarth, one of only a few independent coffee shops these days still offering a ‘human touch’ ! I highly recommend this little gem. Customer service is excellent. The manageress Alison and her lovely team are warm, friendly and polite, and they work hard to create a welcoming, cosy atmosphere. It’s my favourite place for a great coffee & a delicious pastry. Well done Brod.

Such a fab place! It was our first time visiting and the staff were really helpful. The place was immaculately clean too. The Danish pastries we had we delicious, the best I've ever tasted (well done Brød) we all had a variety of hot drinks which were great too, I had a pot of tea which done 4 cups! And the tea kept hot right to the end! Will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely little bakery and cafe in the centre of Penarth. The quality and selection are excellent. The staff are very friendly too. Perhaps the only downside is the price. But then again the food is great.

Please come here instead of greggs. Keep the local bakeries going. The sausage rolls here are so under rated, they knock greggs out the park! All pies pastries and cakes all fresh and tasty. Same goes for sandwiches and rolls. They also have a unique selling point their own pepper pasties that you will not find anywhere else!

Got to go just for their pepper pasties. The deli section is amazing too. They do not skimp on the ingredients. Every one is fully loaded. They also do some of the best traditional cakes around.

The best bakers in the whole of South Wales, and it's not even close. Probably the only shop in Barry with a queue all the way down the street from the minute they open!
