10/10 every time. Our go to fish and chip shop, we wouldn't go anywhere else. Batter is excellent, curry is sauce i great and the chips are the best around.

Great food at a great price and friendly service the shop was spotless. Get your chips here then head to the front for chips and seaside fun.

Best fish and chips in Penarth. Certainly 100% better than the Posh chip shop around the corner. Queues are usually long here but that's because everyone loves it. Portion sizes are brilliant, fish is mostly cooked fresh especially when busy. Prices are very competitive and service is quick. I certainly recommend this place.

BEACHCLIFF FISH AND CHIPS REVIEWS

After a total disaster at another place (cold, soggy, clearly frozen chips), we came here not expecting much — but it was a game changer. These were proper chip shop chips: thick, golden, fresh out of the fryer and cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and actually seasoned. You could taste the difference straight away — no frozen nonsense, just real chips made with care. It’s exactly what you want when you’re by the sea: a simple tray of hot, satisfying chips that actually feel worth it. Absolutely made up for the earlier letdown — we’ll be coming back here next time, no question.

Such a treat to have vegan options at a Fish and chip shop. Staff were super helpful and were happy to check if other items on the menu were plant based. Food was delicious! Can't wait to come back.

Absolutely perfect fish and chips. Excellent value large cod and chips. Beautiful and crispy batter and lovely chips. However does not need the lettuce, adds nothing to the dish.

Great service must try we leave in london we came to visit I am in love with these berry island I just love chips with salt and veniger.

First time ordering and it was great. Food arrived hot and the chips were the best I’ve had in a LONG time. Victoria park pies were spot on too! Price is good and plenty of food for the money.

I use this chippy around once every 2 weeks. Staff are nice and friendly the shop is kept clean and tidy. The food is nice and hot, I feel the food used to taste a little nicer last year however the food still tastes good. Highly recommended.
