“The Old White Lion Hotel is a fully licensed Bed and Breakfast. They also have two twin rooms, one single room, and one family room suitable for three people. Been in many times.Bloody good artists on at the weekends checkout there Facebook page for when.Also good for a quite drink when the football is on There is a large screen in The Oak Room Good beers+wines at good prices THE no 1 place for music in Bury. Everybody in Bury know where the 'Lion' is so don't be afraid to ask the locals.

We had great stay here, Joan and her staff was very welcoming. had a good and clean room. Very central to all the shops and bars. Breakfast was amazing, full English with black pudding, orange juice plus tea or coffee. For the price we paid this was outstanding value and we gonna book here again.

A good variety of drinks and cocktails to be enjoyed friendly bar staff and lots of entertainment on through the week and weekend.

Ended up staying here for a good while. The rooms were always on point everyday. Lovley friendly staff theres not 1 bad staff member unlike some places. Would highly recommend this place 24/7 asda walking distance mcdonalds town centre isnt far either. Thank you for having me.

Stayed over this past bank holiday weekend. Room was clean and functionable although TV was just a pc screen. Staff were extremely polite, proffesional and very helpful.

Great stop off after watching coldplay in Manchester, rooms where very clean and tidy staff were friendly when we arrived, and there was an Asda next door for breakfast.

This is a place that lives up to the name of luxury. A lovely room, very nicely appointed with telly and Wi-Fi (code's in the drawer). All very clean and looks like new. Breakfast was top quality with each item being the best in class. Liz had emailed me to say that the M62 had shut so I didn't get stuck in the traffic and offered to take me and my friends to the event we were going to if it was raining. Would be a great base to explore the area.

We attended a wedding at The Fisherman's Retreat and booked The Stables as they were conveniently situated close by. What can I say other than 'Fabulous' - The room was lovely with fantastic scenery all around the buildings. Liz and Hervey were accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are of an exceptionally high standard and we wished we were staying longer than an overnight stop. Everything about the room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was nice to have the little extras i.e. juice in the mini fridge, biscuits and chocolate. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. It really is a luxury B&B with the added of bonus of being within walking distance of The Fisherman's Retreat and we would definitely recommend.

Would just like to thank you both for helping us celebrate our wedding weekend in style. Both us and our guests were so impressed with everything about your accommodation and that backed up by your excellent service and attention to detail. Both Liz and Hervey are brilliant hosts and the Full English has to be sampled to be believed. Brilliant service, great host's, will definitely return to stay again.
