Hedgefield House is a magnificent mansion surrounded by 4 acres of award-winning gardens, located on the outskirts of the Northumbrian countryside, yet just a 10-minute drive from Newcastle city centre. The hotel is conveniently within a 10-minute walk of the historic Ryton, featuring its ancient church and an array of charming cafes and restaurants. It's also just one mile from the Hadrian's Wall walk.
The house is a mere 10-minute journey from Newcastle Centre and a 5-minute drive from the MetroCentre shopping complex. HEDGEFIELD HOUSE REVIEWS
Absolute gentleman! Booked this hotel as part of a bikepacking trip following hadrian's wall. Booked it the night before and it was very last minute, turned up to the hotel after a long days ride only to find out that I had booked it for a date in November by mistake. They couldn't do enough for us and managed to squeeze us in for the night, luckily having 1 room left. Room was lovely, the building and ground were beautiful too. Allowed us to lock the bikes in the shed out of the rain too. Would stay here again 100% if I'm ever in the area and I'd recommend you to do the same, but don't book it for the wrong date like me.
Booked it to see some friends we haven't seen since the beginning of lockdown, lovely place rooms nice and comfortable bathroom with shower top notch, no bar or other facilities but just up the road 100m is a lovely bar and restaurant Michaelangelo's.
Beautiful hotel set within lovely grounds, electric gates on entry and plenty of parking. The double room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and spacious, comfortable bed all very clean and fresh. There was also an additional single bed, TV and coffee/tea provided, still bottled water and biscuits were a nice treat.

THE OSBORNE HOTEL REVIEWS
I just moved to Newcastle from Texas and stayed at The Osborne while moving into my apartment. Laura and Sharon were sweet, helpful, and SO welcoming! The accommodations were lovely but the company was even lovelier! I would highly recommend staying here!
It's a great place for short time vacation. The distance from Jesmond metro station is about 7 min walking. Few but yummy breakfast options from full English breakfast to porridge and toast with marmelades. Clean, cosy and comfortable. The Osborne team is great... Kiran is the one that makes this place feel like home.
Great service from Laura on reception and Sharon (I think) during breakfast the next day.Good Hotel facilities for price - clean and comfortable with a good cooked breakfast. Location good but outside was noisy during this stay. I have been a few times and will stay again.

ROOMS INN REVIEWS
Road trip to Scotland I was a bit scared to book here the price was almost too cheap compared to the local market in Newcastle. The room was spacious! I set up a little yoga area for the morning is how big it is.. the shower was quirky. Coming from Australia I havnt had this water pressure knob then a temp knob but worked it out.. clean fresh room great bed and sleep. I know UK aren’t big on AC but this would make a perfect addition to the room I found when the breeze dropped of a little humid but the in room fan, next to the iron and ironing board.. once I set it up next to the in room quick tea and coffee area it was perfect.
For the price we had payed, I recommend Rooms Inn 100%. We only stayed for one day but we were impressed with the room sizes. It definitely can fit more than 2 people. The sofa in the room looks like in can be changed into a bed.
Basic but clean room, a little dated but with a great shower. Well located for city centre.5 min walk. A nice big free carpark. If you want to see Newcastle this is a great place to stay.
