“Parsley and Pals aim to maintain your dog’s normal routine in a similar home-from-home environment, which helps reduce as much stress and anxiety as possible for your dog. Julie is the owner of Parsley and Pals. She is qualified in dog first aid and has completed courses, including the OFQUAL Level 3 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour, and Welfare, Canine Anxiety, and Canine Diet and Nutrition. She is licensed by Maidstone Borough Council and fully insured through Pet Plan Sanctuary. Their designated room is the second bedroom, where there is a king-size bed, which they can sleep on if they choose.

2025 Update: All dogs must be fully vaccinated, and the Kennel Cough vaccination is advised to be administered 6 weeks before the stay.”

“Pets Holiday Home provides valuable services. All of their kennels are very large, airy, and spacious (4m x 4m). They are heated during the winter months, on colder days in summer, or for older dogs to ensure their comfort when necessary. Pets Holiday Home is fully insured, inspected, and licensed by KCC with a five-star rating annually to ensure they meet industry standards and regulations. All dogs must have a current vaccination certificate at the time of their stay, which must be produced on arrival. They have their own vet on call 24 hours a day. Each dog is exercised three times a day.

2025 Update: Pets Holiday Home is a small, friendly, family-owned and run business that offers large indoor heated chalets for cats and kennels for dogs, both with outside runs. The facility is licensed by KCC with a five-star rating and has CCTV cameras in operation.”

My dog Oli has been home boarded a few times a year for the last ten years. I have to say Julie had been exceptional in her care for him. We received many photos and reports of his holidays for the two weeks we were away. She really is a very caring and loving person and went the extra mile looking after him. He has come home clean and exhausted from all his lovely walks and playtime with Julie’s dogs can’t thank her enough. I know from now on I won’t worry about him while I’m on holiday he will be having a great time.

I cannot recommend Parsley and Pals more highly. Julie is truly committed to the dogs in her care giving them a home from home experience. My dog, Winston, had a wonderful time and has a group of new friends in the resident dogs. Julie is meticulous about her daily reports and kept me updated with pictures of Winstons adventures which was very reassuring. I will certainly be booking Winston in for visits and holidays in the future.

I was so pleased to have found Julie with her Parsley and Pals boarding! We have a 5 year old cocker spaniel Sam, who boarded this week, and he had an amazing time!! Sam was treated liked royalty with healthy snacks, lots of playing, cuddles and space if he needed it. It was really reassuring to know Sam was in safe hands while we had a lovely holiday, and so did he! Julie kept me up to date with his activities and sent photos and videos, which were lovely to see. We are definately booking again next year! 100% recommend this service for your precious doggies. I have one happy, tired boy.

PETS HOLIDAY HOME REVIEWS

We have been using Pets Holiday Home for 3 years now for our springer spaniel. We board him 3 times a year. Whilst he’d rather be away with us it’s not always possible and we have no concerns whatsoever leaving him with Sandra, John and Claire. On pick up our dog seems well fed and in good spirits. I have seen the kennels and am happy that he is looked after here. I feel very comfortable recommending them as a boarding service.

This is the only kennel we would leave our two precious rescue dogs. We have been using John and Sandra for the last 5 years, 4/5 times a year and would never go anywhere else. Their 5 Star rated family run kennel is in an rural setting just outside Maidstone / Tunbridge Wells. It's small and quite and our dogs are always happy and healthy when we collect them - which is reassuring when we are away.

My cat has been boarding at Pets Holiday Home (Cuckoo Farm) since he was a kitten. Sandra, John and Claire are caring and friendly and I always feel comfortable leaving my cat there for his holiday. They have been more than happy to look after his changing dietary needs and I would recommend them very highly.

You will not regret sending your pets to be looked after by Liane at The Pawfect Pad! This is the second time she has looked after our dog bear and he has had a fantastic time both times! She sends you pictures daily so you can see what they are getting up to and every time he has been there she seems to go above and beyond. Whether that be talking them to lovely places for walks or if it is too hot out setting up paddling pools so they can still go outside whilst making sure they are safe in the heat. I cannot fault the service that Liane provides and we will continue to send our dog to her whenever we go away!

My dog just spent 2 weeks with Liane. We received daily photos and videos of him both at home and out on some wonderful country walks. He looked to be having the time of his life! I was able to relax and enjoy my holiday in the absolute knowledge that he was happy and being very well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to use The Pawfect Pad again.

Very friendly clean home, our Freddie had a fantastic time. We received regular photos which gave us piece of mind. He will definitely be returning.
