MAENLLWYD INN RUDRY REVIEWS

Had a great meal with family and friends at the Maenllwyd Inn yesterday. A group of 13 went at Sunday lunchtime. The food was great, I had Sunday roast which was very tasty and very generous. The service was very good - friendly and helpful throughout. Also a nice atmosphere to the place, which helped to make a memorable and enjoyable outing. Highly recommended!

Fabulous service at this local Valleys pub near Risca. Tasty food, freshly made from local produce. Friendly staff and prompt delivery of orders into the beautiful beer garden. One of the nicest burgers I've had. Worth a visit.

Simply the best. Great food. Excellent choice of starters, mains and sweets including a Specials menu. Delicious meals and well presented.Staff were brilliant, friendly and very welcoming. Very highly recommended.

We are here in Caerphilly overnight on business and came to have dinner here at The Red Kite this evening. The staff were so friendly the moment we walked through the door, with our dog, and right away they mentioned that they could do things like cooked chicken for her. The meals were very tasty and filling and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. They really went the extra mile to not only make our meals special, but also accommodate our dog who we love so very much. It made the entire experience so much more meaningful. These days it's not just about the food you serve, it's about the experience from the venue and it's staff and tonight The Red Kite here in Caerphilly stole the show. Thank you so so much for making the evening one to enjoy and remember. Our dog Zali loved her chicken, which was cooked to perfection. 10/10.

Lovely meal on a Friday afternoon, we were welcomed and served by a very attentive young lady called Lauren. We had fish n chips and pie n chips and the fish was perfectly cooked crispy batter not too oily and the pie was cooked to perfection. We are visiting from out of town but if we were locals to the area we would most definitely come back again and again .

Great service,lovely atmosphere, food was cooked perfectly and fantastic portion size. Staff were very attentive and helpful especially Mary-Ann. Very cheerful.

Lovely place to enjoy a very reasonable priced meal, being a Friday night it was busy and the staff were run rugged, us being a party of 12 still had a very enjoyable evening. We found the food delicious, good portion sizes and staff accommodating and friendly. And I shout out to Jordan, thank you for helping us with the menu choices!! Our serving staff were also extremely helpful as a member of our party had a nut allergy and all his food was prepared and cooked separately….. Well done Crossways !! Dietary restrictions: Staff were aware of the nut allergy on booking and a comprehensive file of ingredients was brought to our table before the food was ordered. This persons food was then prepared and cooked separately.

Lovely breakfast again. Good selection, good cooked well. Cath, our server, was very friendly. Nice and quiet early on a Monday morning. We’ll be back I’m sure.

Catherine is one of the best waitresses we have ever been served by. Very polite and courteous. Breakfast was amazing. Deffo come back again.
