HARVESTER BORDERER NEWPORT REVIEWS

As always The Borderer Harvest was top drawer! Food excellent and beautifully presented. We had Clare serving us and she was amazing - so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Compliments also to the chefs. We were greeted by a really friendly lady too on the way in. Will be back soon. Dietary restrictions: Staff ensure you are made well aware that they want to know about allergies etc Kid-friendliness: Nice to see children selecting food from the salad bar and being welcomed.

The food is absolutely amazing and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. It's definitely worth a try! While the atmosphere leans more towards a pub than a restaurant, the high-quality dishes are well presented and served. Parking: Register at the reception for free parking.

Cath our server was so lovely today, made us feel right at home. The food never disappoints and is so convenient and well priced - can always count on the Malpas Road Harvester !

TOBY CARVERY NEWPORT REVIEWS

It's not the biggest Toby out there, and the car park is quite compact and fills up quickly a peak times, but the standard of the food is very good and the staff work exceptionally hard, most with a smile on there face. Turnaround time is also very quick, which if you want to eat and not hang around, is very useful. We ordered a drink each and just had the carvery, no starters or deserts. From the time we walked into the place to the time we walked out of there was 36 mins. This meant that we could quickly get back on the motorway and resume our journey. Will definitely be returning.

I love this place. Only downfall is the eggs at breakfast. They are hit and miss some days very rubbery and others they're perfect. They also don't replenish them timely enough but everything else is beautiful!! And I go back often. Carvery is delicious and the guys carving the meat for you are amazing at what they do. I'm always in awe.

Delicious food, friendly quick service . We had the carvery and the meat was tender, the veg selection was really good. Pudding was apple plum and damson crumble with custard. Yum. Lemon sponge and custard was the other pud, also enjoyed.. Parking: Had to register the car at the console.

Very busy restaurant with helpful staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of choice on the menu to suit all, catering for any intolerances. Great portions, I had the scallops to start and Chicken burger both very good. Would recommend.

Our first visit here and won't be out last. The food is top quality, forget pub food this is a whole different level. The staff are plentiful and very friendly. Overall just an amazing way to spend a couple of hours and enjoy high class food.

Wife wanted to go out for lunch at a nice place. Finally zeroed on junction 28. Well worth it. We were served very well. The food was exceptional.
