BLAINA WHARF REVIEWS
This was my first visit and I popped in to work from here for the day whilst my car was in for service with VW Newport, and the service was very friendly. Place is immaculate and very popular. I chose to have a carvery for my lunch and the deck was very clean, I had gammon and beef as my choices and all the veg. Super tasty and definitely will be back again. Sorry for the empty plate photo I forgot to take pic before I tucked in
The waitress Mazz was really good, And Stevie brought us our delicious food, The mega mixed grill was a plate of fun, Would feed me, my dad and mum! With sausage and steak, chicken and egg too, and mushrooms and chips to name just a few. You'd think that I couldn't fit in cake, but no, you'd be making a mistake! A lovely time was had by all of us, the atmosphere and food were great with no fuss. My cake is here now and my wife has started eating, I need to go eat some before she is beaten!!!!
we had an amazing time yesterday! we came in for food and it was delicious! a lovey lady called Gina served us at the bar ensuring all our meals were correct. All staff were rushed off their feet making sure the place was clean. Absolutely stunning! Afternoon tea for 5 of us. Sandwiches were lovely and fresh and very tasty and the cakes were so nice! Service was perfect! Staff are happy to be there and really enjoy their jobs and this shows with the level of service given to every customer there. I'd definitely recommend this afternoon tea to everyone it's the best we've had and we've been to a lot of places. Thank you so much you gave us a wonderful afternoon.
My first time here to have food. Was recommended this place by friends and family on numerous occasions. Staff are very nice here. Nothing is any trouble. Food is exceptionally nice. The prices are fab for the city centre of Newport. This place exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend. Definitely coming back soon. Nice restaurant area which is nice and modern.
Went for afternoon tea today and it was one of the best we've had anywhere. The food was fresh and filling and the staff were friendly and attentive. We have had main meals there in the past and they, too, have been lovely and even when there was a crowd of us every meal was hot, well cooked and well presented.

MAN OF GWENT REVIEWS
What you can see in the picture is an XL Mixed Grill for £16! £16 for a mixed grill to that size and cooked perfectly, what more could you want? Everything on the menu was priced so cheaply, but the quality was top notch. Monday - Wednesday even a sirloin steak was only £10. Food came quick, and came with that hot plate which offered that sizzling sound everyone enjoys. Well worth a visit, pub atmosphere with sport on with top quality food. Parking can be a nightmare, but other than that 10/10.
Lovely meal and friendly staff. My steak was cooked to perfection and I would recommend the mixed grill XL to anyone. Service was prompt and efficient. I have tried every meal on the menu and I can't fault any of them. It's now my favourite place to eat and drink. Parking: About 10 parking places and 2 dedicated disabled spots. Electric vehicle charging is also being installed. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance available.
Good menu plus Sunday roasts on offer. I had half chicken, it was too dry and hard to cut. My friend had bef on the bone and that was delicious. Very tender. Plenty of room and not a long wait to be served. Very welcoming staff. I would go again butt I wouldn't have chicken!
