CARTGATE LODGE CAFÉ REVIEWS

This is a great place to take a break while traveling along the busy A303 trunk road......It's easy to find as it's well sign posted from the main road with easy access from the roundabout....As you pull in you will find a large carpark with plenty of good sized spaces........There are plenty of grassed areas with picnic tables scattered around.....Then you will see the large public toilet block,the gift shop and information centre plus the cartgate lodge cafe where you can get your refreshments,with a lot of food and drinks to choose from........ Overall a great place to stop and stretch your legs and have a drink and a bite to eat before continuing your journey.

I travel the A303 all the time and this has been my favourite stop for years. Really good, honest food, friendly people and it's not a rip off. I'm a vegetarian and there's always a good choice on offer for me (the veggie lasagne is the best). Also can't leave this place without a slice of bread pudding. It's iconic. There's plenty of room to park if you're in a camper van.

Great customer service and competitively priced. Indoor and outdoor seating available for whatever your preference is. Not a lot to of choice on the menu but the cheese and bacon burger I bought for £7.50 was really good. The gentleman in the kitchen was really professional.

BOSWELLS CAFE REVIEWS

Our first visit today for brunch. Although it was mid-morning and therefore quite busy, the staff were very helpful and polite. The food and drinks were really good and served quickly. The only downside was the noise level, not only from the background music (not really necessary), but from the patrons. Whilst this particular cafe is quite modern it has a high ceiling and all the background sound appears amplified in the 'cavernous' surroundings. That said, the staff were excellent.

My wife and I visited Yeovil town centre yesterday for the first time and had a lovely lunch here. As we are coffee and toastie lovers, we have had them in so many different cafes around Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Boswells' toasties are one of the best (if not the best) we have ever tasted. Fresh, warm, crunchy, delicious, and all in all it's amazing. 100% recommended.

Excellent service, plenty of attentive staff who will go out of their way to make you comfortable and with little children it is of great comfort. Excellent food choices all come out hot and fresh, highly recommend to anyone.

First visit to the popular The Feed Station today. Very impressed with the meat and veggie breakfasts. You can tell its good home cooked food. Lovely sourdough toast also. Jacket potato with beans and cheese lapped up by child. All of us enjoyed very generous portions of yummy cake for dessert. FYI their website tells you, you do need to wait for food to be cooked and served. It took 30mins for ours to arrive. If you have kids, recommend bringing things for them to do whilst waiting. Really like the decor and furnishings inside (airy and not cluttered), where we were sat. Will be returning. Recommend booking ahead of time.

Visited today for the first time and it exceeded my expectations! The layout is comfortable and it has a really cosy atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The menu options were varied and prices very reasonable. The food came out quickly and was presented really well. Great portion sizes too! Very delicious and would highly recommend.

A lovely little cafe for breakfast / brunch! Lots of options on the menu to cater for all needs. Good coffee and very friendly staff too. It was lovely to be able to bring my doggy inside who very much enjoyed the treats he was given! We will definitely be back.
