I inherited a 2006 Honda Accord that I discovered had a repetitive problem with the battery becoming flat. An AA mechanic managed to start the car using a powerful booster pack, but he was mystified as to why he could not coax the battery into storing significant charge. My son researched online and discovered that other owners of Honda Accords of this vintage had had problems with recurrent parasitic battery power drainage events. Most of these seemed to be due to a wiring problem associated with the car's bluetooth system. It seemed likely this was the problem with my car and I took it to Autocare Services where there was a mechanic who had an interest in Honda cars. The battery drainage problem was confirmed and found to be due to the bluetooth module which was duly disconnected. I was told that the car was repaired only three hours after taking it to them. Subsequently the battery retained its power reliably while I drove it regularly. Unfortunately, I had to go abroad for a month and the battery was flat on my return. I attempted to remove the battery but the positive battery terminal could not be loosened due to a nut being very firmly tightened and impossible to loosen with my tools. I could not charge the battery from my garage as subsidence has destroyed the electricity supply. I called Autocare yesterday and explained my predicament to the very sympathetic and helpful receptionist, Sarah. A young mechanic called Ged drove from the garage to my home in Barrack Rd, EX2 within an hour of my phone call and quickly helped me to remove the battery.

First time I used this company for my car service wont be the last agreed work to be done and price before booking, however I had a call that the car required more work in the front suspension area, i was not surprised i thought there was more problems, agreed price on phone did the work, left car at 8.30 am picked it up 4.00pm all done , car drives a dream since. Staff could not be more helpful will defiantly use again.

Easy to book in, lovely receptionist when I dropped off my car, good communication when my car was ready, and friendly helpful staff all round when I came back to pick my car up. The icing on the cake was that they had replaced the battery in my key...which I've been meaning to do for ages! Thank you.
