3 Best Churches in Leicester, UK

We came here as it was open to the public as part of the Heritage Sunday open days that Leicester currently run with several local venues to visit on the last Sunday of the month. This church is well worth the visit. It is huge and very beautiful and is almost as large as Leicester cathedral with a lot of history. We didn't have a guide but a kind local pointed out prominent features and told me a little of its history, gorgeous place.

Amazing Historical building described as having a example from every part of "English Church Architecture" very friendly and knowledgeable staff hidden gem - please make the effort to go and see it surrounded by some of the historical parts of Leicester.

A magnificent site - and the volunteers working here are wonderful people who are always happy to tell you something of the church's long and mysterious history!

Traditional beautiful church where you can attend the Latin Mass, enjoy the beauty of the architecture and the multitude statues of saints. Our Lady of the Holy Cross wooden composition makes you think. It is very different from Michelangelo's La Pietà but beautiful on it is on way. St. Martin De Porres is definitely have a special place in the church. You can learn about his life and pray for his intercetions.

I can't praise this church enough and it so beautiful inside. The church is spectacular and the priest was very welcoming. You don't have to be religious to enter here all welcome to have a moment to yourself there. Worth visiting.
