Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, also known as Paddy's Wigwam, is one of the oldest cathedral building. The cathedral is also listed in Grade II list for Metropolitan buildings in the country. The cathedral was designed by Frederick Gibberd, who was a winner in the worldwide design competition. The construction of the new building of the cathedral began in 1962 and was completed in 1967. Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral plays has groups that serve the children, youth and seniors from the community. The Organs was installed after the completion of cathedral construction, which still plays a significant role in choir music. The cathedral has a calm and pleasant ambience which attracts people even from neighbouring communities to the prayers and enjoy the exquisite views that cathedral offers."

The church covers most of the city centre and docks, including Lime Street, and the Albert Dock, which makes it a perfect place to spend the weekend with family. Church of Their Lady and Saint Nicholas initially served only hundreds of people, but as the years ran, the population of Liverpool had grown to about 1,000 people. The church also serves the civic and business communities in the city. They serve a number of visitors through maritime groups for services every year."
