2025 Update: The Cathedral Church of St Mary & St Boniface is the seat of the Bishop of Plymouth and the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth. The church is Grade II listed. In 1859, the Bishop was able to build the nave and aisle for a church. The foundation stone was laid on 25th June 1860. The opening celebration was led by Bishop Vaughan in 1861. They feel blessed at the Cathedral to have the opportunity to spend time with the Lord in prayer and quiet reflection. The Cathedral Church of St Mary & St Boniface is open every day for Mass, offering you the opportunity to attend.
