Gareth has been brilliant from the first contact over the phone until the delivery of my repaired computer. Gareth listens very well and finds a tailored solution. In my case I wanted to save my computer after having split tea on it. Local PC shop advised me (without having looked at it) to buy a new one (costs = at least £350). My computer was not at the end of its life. Gareth could determine the extend of the damage. If not sure about solutions, he would enquire. He gave me all the options, keeping me constantly aware of the progress. He eventually saw that the screen connector was damaged. He found a cheap replacement and ask for very reasonable price for his work. I got my laptop back. I phoned Computer.DOC when I thought I had been scammed via a fake Microsoft Support site that took over my laptop and I was locked out. I got nowhere with Microsoft and in desperation phoned Gareth who was amazing, a real knight in shining armour! He was so reassuring and supportive, listening to my scenario, talking me through the possibilities and gave me great advice and ways to unlock my laptop, all of which made me feel so much better. Afterwards I sent him the details, which he investigated and concluded it was not a scam and gave me step by step tasks to restore things as well as security advice and very helpful links. Amazing. Gareth says he’s been fixing pcs since 1998 and i believe him due to his competence! Gareth kept me informed throughout the process and got it back to me fully working within 48 hours.
