Daniel and Sarah felt it was time to move back to the North to be nearer family. Sarah graduated in Medicine from the University of Leicester in 1999. She then undertook surgical training in the Midlands, gaining operative experience in General Surgery and Paediatric Surgery. She was awarded Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in England by examination in 2003. Daniel initially qualified in 1999 from the National University of Ireland (Dublin) with a medical degree. He subsequently embarked on a career in Surgery, gaining experience in the specialties of General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He was awarded Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh by examination, and attained the postgraduate Diploma of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England in 2004. He then undertook Higher Surgical Training in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery.”
