Walks with my puppy are now stress free and the bond we have has grown so much since meeting with Jamie! After just 2 appointments, she is no longer pulling on the lead and her recall has massively improved. I'm neurodiverse and the not knowing how to deal with my puppies behaviour on walks before I met with Jamie was overwhelming and caused me a great deal of anxiety. His calm approach and going through each problematic behaviour step by step was exactly what I needed. When I first met with Jamie my overall goal was to be able to go on country/woodland walks and let my puppy off the lead without her getting distracted and running away. I've managed to achieve that and so much more and it's all thanks to Jamie. The changes really have been life changing! Not only are our walks now stress free, we've also been able to travel on the bus and train, go shopping, visit some busy cities and stay on a narrow boat without any issues. Jamie really turned things around for our reactive Saluki. On our first session I couldn't believe what he achieved with her behaviour around other dogs. And we were really well supported to continue the training at home. Not only is her behaviour transformed, she is a much happier dog. People that know us on dog walks comment on how happy and relaxed she looks lately. Walks are enjoyable as they should be. I honestly didn't think we'd get to this point and wished I'd contacted Jamie sooner, the improvement was pretty quick once we knew what to do.

Jamie helped us with some simple, easy but effective tips to help with some reactivity with our rescue Rottweiler. We’ve had dogs all our lives and class ourselves as experienced dog owners but we owed it to her, ourselves and other people to help with these few issues which most likely stemmed from lack of socialising when she was a puppy and from the environment she came from, fortunately she loves people and cuddles and she is now growing into a lovely friendly, relaxed dog. Highly recommend Jamie’s cool, calm and confident expertise.

We took our dog (Norbit) for his first swimming lessons to boost his confidence, health and all round wellbeing (we have been going weekly since).The staff are fantastic, friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. This has helped boost Norbit’s confidence and with a bit of luck he could be doing the 100m in next year’s doggy olympics. Big thank you to all the staff.

We had a wonderful time at Woofs n Scruffs Durham! We took our little welsh terrier pup, teddy, who is quite boisterous along to their puppy socialisation class on a Sunday. The trainers were great at managing the dozen or so dogs that attended - very approachable and certainly worth the money! Would recommend to anyone with a pup that they want to get more confident and used to other canines.

Great place for dogs and puppies. I have been here for years with my old dog he used the day care that was fab and for Henry my puppy he went to the puppy classes and loved them and now swimming! The staff are friendly and helpful always. My sausage always has a fab time here would recommend.
