We enrolled our 10 month French Pointer on the adolescent obedience class, we went twice a week with Sean and Caroline as instructors. The first lesson was certainly a challenge, Bertie was by far the worst behaved! But we don't give up, Sean and Caroline encouraged us to keep going and they were right: after 6 weeks there was a marked change in Bertie's behaviour, he went from being a nightmare to take for a walk to a dog that is often a pleasure to take out in public. It is difficult to train a young dog, classes specifically for 6-18 months are brilliant, so many of us have the same problems, basically a failure to communicate properly with an unruly young dog, and this course addresses those issues very well. Both Sean and Caroline give individual advice tailored to your dog during the lessons, but it is down to you to persevere,and we both feel we have gained tremendously in confidence and knowledge in handling our young dog.

Our dog stayed at Hampshire dog club for two weeks, she must have loved it there because she is so much better behaved since being home. We were both so concerned about leaving her for the first time but would have no worries about leaving her there again. Very pleased with the kennels and would very highly recommend them.

Perfect safe place to take your dog and great for help training puppies and dogs. The staff really are helpful. Onsite shop for treats and being able to safely enjoy playtime with your dog off the lead is great. Hopefully they start public sessions for dogs to socialise.

Had a great couple of days with our German Shepherd. Training was great and we've come away more confident with his recall. His lead walking is better and I've now walked him round Botley without my husband having to take the lead. We now believe we have the tools to stop him running off and chasing. We originally signed up for 8 weeks of puppy training which proved to be instrumental in obtaining a firm foundation for good control and obedience, and also a stronger bond with our puppies. We immediately signed up for a further year of classes to progress our doggies through their Bronze and Silver awards onto their Gold, whilst learning it's as much about the handler as it is the dog. We have been impressed with the standard of knowledge and advice on hand and have thoroughly enjoyed the behaviour classes and especially the agility. We have recommended the The National Dog training Academy to friends and family and will continue to do so. When circumstances allow we will return to continue training.

Initially signed up for a 6 week course to help our 2 year old beagle/cocker with some behaviour issues. We have just signed up for ongoing classes as we are so happy with them. Sandra and Tracey are both professional and extremely knowledgable. They are friendly and approachable and we would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about training classes.
