We drove from Little Stanney to Weston Grove well worth the drive. We ordered Haddock and chips it was cooked fresh the batter was golden and crispy and the chips were lovely too. We can highly recommend. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be re visiting when we are back in the area.

Am visiting from the states and stopped here on a whim after being recommended after visiting the zoo and was absolutely amazed. The food was to die for and the costumer service was impeccable. Thank you so much James and Joeell for making a superb British classic and a unforgettable meal. Would love to dine here again.

Not my first or last visit. Haddock was cooked perfectly and the batter was perfect. Excellent home made tartare sauce and delicious chips. If you want first class fish & chips this is the place to come. Keep up the great work team.

CHESTER'S FISH AND CHIPS REVIEWS

i’ve been visiting chester’s for quite some time, but today i was astonished by the professionalism of the young staff. Some customers had the audacity to rudely speak up on a situation (that the members off the staff were evidently dealing with) which had nothing to do with the customers themselves and spoke very poorly to the waitress who was most definitely a YOUNG girl. poor girl was on her way to take our order and was rudely muttered at. despite this, she carried on and did an amazing job. wish i could tell her again how well she handled it and how incredible her service was despite the rude customer telling her to sharpen up. shame on anyone who publicly shames young staff who are doing their best. anyway the food was amazing, service was spectacular and i would recommend. clean and clam environment.

A lovely fish and chip shop right in the centre of Chester. You can dine in or takeaway. The food is lovely we just had the small cut and chips with mushy peas I meant to take a photo before I started to eat it but got carried away sorry. They also do delicious ice creams and desserts plus they do tea coffee and serve alcohol. They do a gluten-free menu as well.

Last minute decision to get fish and chips just before Chester’s closing time paid off! What amazing food. We had fish, chips and curry sauce and everything was delicious. The batter on the fish was light and crispy and hands down the best fish either of us have ever had. Considering it was almost closing time the chips were freshly cooked too. Nothing was greasy. As for the curry sauce. It was fruity with a hint of spice. Perfect! Staff were also really helpful and friendly despite coming to the end of their shift. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Asked for my food to be less oily and they did not disappoint. The food was super delicious. The service is very friendly and efficient as usual. Thank you all.

We ordered salt and pepper chicken and crispy chilli beef with rice and wow, they were both AMAZING. Huge portions and full of flavour. This was our first time ordering but definitely won't be last, absolute class.
