3 Best Steak Restaurants in Chester, UK

Had an amazing birthday lunch here last weekend. The steak was ridiculously good and they have an excellent drinks menu with some lovely cognacs. Exceeded my expectations I couldn't fault anything and the service was superb. Lovely touch with the birthday card as well thank you Daisy! We’ll definitely be coming back.

We wanted a special meal to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday, and special it was. Davidson was fabulous from start to finish, he was very knowledgeable around the wines and menu and was attentive throughout. The food was excellent and the steak cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team for a precious memory.

Excellent food and even better service, we were extremely impressed by the level of service! A beautiful, chic place with delicious food with good portions at fair prices. You can tell that everything is made from scratch, even the shortbread. My husband had a cocktail which also tasted very good. Extraordinary experience, thanks so much.

Wow!!! Amazing... the food is 100 percent spot on.. never know staff to be so attentive . The choice of fresh buffet is great. A massive variety .. very clean establishment. Got complimentary cheese bread balls an fries. Very quick service. The meats are constantly flowing.. very good value for money. A must!!! Will not be disappointed. Family welcome. Car park 40 seconds away. Ribs are a special on weekend. Not through the week. The staff go above an beyond.

Amazing! I honestly could not fault ANYTHING about Rios! The service from altars to finish was exceptional. All staff friendly welcoming and genuinely lovely. Could not do enough for you. The food was equally amazing. From the buffet to all the meats, including some useful tips on how to make some of the dishes at home! If I could go here every evening for food I would, but I would then be on my 600 pound life! Its just irresistible food! We are planning our next visit soon and can not wait to go back. The meat was excellent, tender perfectly cooked and great variety. Worth the prices. Worth the night out.

What a restaurant. Food was amazing, the salad bar had a lot to offer for anyone, even the fussy partner. She had a decent plate of different offerings. The meat being served by the multiple waiters was exquisite, you could tell they put the time and effort in to make sure your experience was top notch. Our server, who I unfortunately cannot remember the name off, was great. He was attentive, asked us we wanted more of any specific meats, but wasn't pushy in trying to get more drinks out of you. It totalled at around £124.00 but for a one off anniversary treat, it was worth every penny. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Highly recommend.
