We visit Whitby’s every so often as a family for a “sit down” fish and chips. The fish is always fresh and battered perfectly. Chips are fluffy and the fish pie is delicious. The steak pie is full of meat and just falls apart in your mouth. We always have a great service, the waiter/waitresses are very attentive. We will be back as it’s some of the best food in Doncaster.

We visit family twice a year from Plymouth and on both visits we always go to whitby's with my elderly nan. Every time we visit we are not disappointed and leave very full and happy. The staff that delt with us today was very polite friendly and professional. The restaurant is always clean and plates are not left sitting on the table to long after we finished.

First time ever visiting, staff were very welcoming and accommodating. My daughter has asd and adhd, nothing was too much for the staff and they made her feel very at ease when she struggles socially and the food was amazing.

Traveling back from Essex to Glasgow I took a chance on this place as it wasn't far from the motorway. I'll definitely come back. £21 for a massive fish and chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and a coke. I sat in but they do takeaway.

Great value for money good portion sizes, only had take out, so can't give atmosphere a fair review as I've never been inside the restaurant part.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Chips were divine and went well with Ketchup, burger was nice and overall the meal was quite filling with the portion being just right leaving enough room for pudding without feeling sick afterwards. Note : There were more onion rings before I took the photo.

HARRY'S FISH BAR & RESTAURANT REVIEWS

We’ve just been to Harry’s Fish Bar and restaurant in Dunsville for lunch. The restaurant and takeaway is on the main road out of Doncaster towards Hatfield, and has off-street parking. The restaurant is lovely, very clean, bright and modern, and the staff are lovely too - warm, and welcoming! There is an extensive menu with lots of alternatives if you’re not a fish lover - it’s available on-line. And the restaurant is licensed so you can enjoy a glass if wine or lager with your meal. Prices are pretty good, we paid around £15 each for fish, chips and peas with a bottle of wine to share.

The fish & chips at Harry's are delicious! Not to mention their curry sauce & mushy peas. They provide excellent service & a lovely atmosphere. Me & the girlfriend go there as often as we can. 10/10.

An amazing chippy I've been coming to a chippy at this location since I was 17 years old. I moved away but on trips back to see family I would always come here for chips etc as I always thought it was the best in the region I'm 62 now and on a recent trip to see my now very elderly dad, we came here again. The chips, sausage, fish, curry, pies etc etc etc are still amazing, but as I haven't been to any other chip shops in the area for a long time I can't say they are still the best...... However, my 89 year old dad still says they are the 'best in the region by a country mile", so I'm not going to go against what my dad says.
