We visited Spice and Ice last night and were blown away by the quality of the food. We were also really dismayed that we were the only people in. So firstly, the restaurant itself is still super glamourous and very comfortable. But the food is the real star now. Firstly, they have included very interesting dishes on the menu such as Gobi Manchurian and Aloo Papri Chaat alongside curry house favourites. They managed to get everything right. Our favourite dish was a smoky aubergine dish called Baingan Bharta. The waiter explained how they burtnt the aubergine skin to get the flavour. We got the impression that all the food was made from scratch with this type of care. Another star dish was the Samosas, they are the Punjabi style made with thick pastry, slightly spicy and very filling. Also, the wine was a reasonable price and great quality. So the only criticism we could come up with was “no craft beer”, but that’s pretty much the same for all restaurants in Doncaster. Finally, the staff were excellent. They were knowledgeable, polite and professional. Photo of the bill included but we all thought it was excellent value for what we had. They are obviously skilled in the trade and cared about customers. We told them they need an Open Now banner out front because we thought the place had closed down. Anyway, if you are in the area, please give them a go.

Tried this restaurant last night, food was absolutely delicious. The mix grill starter was gorgeous. I was particularly impressed with the peshwari naan and prawn saag. Great atmosphere and service, will definitely visit again next time I happen to be in Doncaster.

Very good service in a lovely big bar and restaurant. Large portions, a little more expensive than other places I’ve been to but well worth it as the food is superb! If I’m working in the area again I will definitely be back!

The food and service are always excellent. Me and my dad have been going here for years, usually once a month and would highly recommend it to anyone. The curries are amazing, everything is fresh and everything you want from an Indian meal. Looking forward to my next visit.

Had a lovely Christmas dinner here yesterday! Food was exceptional and portion size was very filling. Great atmosphere with Christmas decorations and music! When having a laugh with family, the staff joined in which made the experience all that bit better! Highly recommend!!

Top quality scran at Naaz 10/10. Went out with the family for mothers day, ordered a starter (chicken chaat) which was the best I've had and for the main dish (chicken & prawn madras and a garlic naan), which again was delicious. Top service and banter to top it off, thankyou all.

We come here very often, this is one of the best establishments in the area, service is on point always, food is always delicious, and cooked to perfection, the quantity and quality is great every time, we have eaten in and taken food out in many occasions parking here is free just remember to add your plate in when you come in.

Just taken a delivery....WOW incredible food enjoyed our set meal for two, really good value its the first time we have used you as recently moving to the area and you definitely delivered, a restaurant meal for a takeaway can't wait to visit the restaurant sometime soon but would definitely recommend thank you.

Great kebabs to start, followed Lamb shank, not seen this before, but, wow, what a great choice. Chapati were freshly made, top place.
