Queued for an hour Luckily, the weather was good I ordered Cod & Chips only one portion size available although it was definitely enough the chips where amazing and the cod the batter was spot on no doughy underlay the fish itself was so meaty and moist was definitely worth the wait the lady behind only ordered a portion of chips after queuing for an hour definitely a must if in the area. We drove up the road to eat them, see photo.

The best fish and chips, I've ever had. Chips were soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside, perfect. The fish was nice and thick, and the better perfectly crispy. Very reasonably priced also. Definitely worth over an hour wait in the queue! Nice and clean and staff are friendly.

Oh wow! We stopped here after a not-so-good fish and chips nearby on our last recent holiday to Barmouth. We followed the delicious smell and could tell we were in for a treat. There aren't many takeaways/restaurants where you have to queue out of the door early evening on a Thursday. We loved our meals and I think these were the best chips we've ever had. Thanks.

Well, it’s 46 years since I was last at this place. And after banging on about how good it was back in 1978 to my wife, we went and bought fish and chips with mushy peas to eat overlooking the beautiful bay. And boy they didn’t disappoint. Generous portions. The fish was delicious. Best I’ve had by far. Staff were friendly too. Shame it wasn’t 1978 prices though. But that’s fish and chips everywhere. Ours came to £22 for both of us. Will definitely return….and not in another 46 years.

Superb fish & chips, curry sauce was very.nice too. Fish wasn’t greasy, very tasty and well battered. Chips excellent too.

Freshly cooked cod and chips. So we had to wait a little while. Well worth it though. Crispy batter with no soggy bits and perfdct chips. Taken away to enjoy on one of the many nearby convienient benches with superb views. Seaside fish and chips at their best.

So so good, I’d come back to Caernarfon just for them! Best fish & chips I’ve ever had; their awards are well deserved. Thanks for converting me to the fish & chips club.

Caught them just before the shop closed this evening. Friendly people behind the counter and the cod and chips were amazing. 5 stars, this is how fish and chips should be done. Thank you.

Came here because its won the fry awards 2 years running. Batter on the haddock was perfectly cooked throat, fish was fresh, great chips. Well deserved awards. Staff really friendly and good atmosphere.
