Y SGWÂR RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Absolutely amazing this restaurant. We had the pan fried scallops which were incredible, fresh and cooked to perfection. Then on to mains we both had the lamb and my god was it lovely. A very decent portion aswell but the potatoes and veg were equally amazing. Overall a lovely restaurant, yes on the pricer side but worth every penny.
What a wonderful place! We visited for a meal this evening whilst on holiday, in the local area. We were so impressed and will defiantly visit again in future. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty. Portions were generous and very well presented. The restaurant was busy, creating a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were so friendly. Highly recommend a visit.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Between us we had pork belly and lamb - both meals were excellent. Would highly recommend!

Wal Restaurant creates a contemporary dining space featuring real oak flooring sourced from Anglesey, handcrafted ash furniture made in Bangor, and table lights imported from Greece. Diners will also be captivated by the arched wall running through Wal Restaurant, believed to have origins dating back to Roman times. Wal Restaurant offers an eclectic menu that ranges from satisfying lunchtime burgers to premium fillet steaks. Owner John Tyrrell has carefully selected all the meat from Wavells, located just four miles away. The meat comes from a herd of Welsh black cows that graze in a stress-free environment alongside the Menai Strait, enjoying lush grass and meadow flowers in their pasture. This stress-free lifestyle contributes to the wonderful flavour of the meat. Additionally, their meat is dry-hung for 28 days to ensure optimal tenderness and is then expertly cooked on a state-of-the-art char grill, promising an exceptional culinary experience.

WAL RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Dog friendly! All day breakfast served here. Not long after we sat down, lots of people started to come in with their dogs. Staff were so friendly and service was great! They gave our dog some dog biscuits! I ordered a large veggie breakfast and it was amazing! Definitely would come here again and recommend it.
We went to Wal for dinner. It was great! Really friendly and helpful staff. There were plenty of options for vegans/vegetarians. They were really knowledgeable on allergens and made everything gluten free for us. ?? Amazing food!
This place is amazing! The most beautiful breakfast AND vegan breakfast! Loads of choice for vegans, very impressed. lovely atmosphere and great service.

THE GOAT INN REVIEWS
I visited with my partner. I had the pie of the day (gammon) my partner had braised lamb. The pub is in a remote location, the interior is very welcoming. The waiting on staff are brilliant and attentive. The prices based on the quality of the food and service we received are geniunly less than I'd expect to pay. 10/10.
We were a family group on holiday in the area and we had two birthdays to celebrate. It was a Thursday Night and we had prebooked. Ample parking, lovely pub having recently been refurbished. Not cheap but value for money. Husband had the pie which he said was as delicious as it looked. I had the childs gammon and pineapple as the adults gammon was massive. Father in law had the curry and can't remember what the last one was but feel free to drool at the photos!
Passed this place plenty of times eventually booked for lunch. Absolutely lovely food. And nice polite staff. My sister and I will go there again.
