LONGSANDS FISH KITCHEN REVIEWS

We very much enjoyed our fish & chips with curry sauce and mushy peas. It was a busy Friday evening but service was swift, efficient and friendly. We are used to haddock mainly so it was nice to try cod (and cod bites) for a change. We are also from the part of the country where curry sauce isn't common but it didn't take us long to become fans! The batter was particularly lovely and crispy.

Managed to get a seat without booking but can imagine this will not always be the case. Ordered fish and chips from the menu, which is cooked in the fryers from the joining takeaway, which serves some of the same menu items, too. They have gluten-free options for most of thier dishes.

Always the best fish and chips here. 1st time we’ve sat in the restaurant bit and the service was spot on! Never disappoints this place.

Sign of a good restaurant when you have to queue to get in. Well worth standing in a queue, though. Amazing fish and chip shop both for sitting in and for takeaway, best in the area. The staff are very friendly and you are not rushed. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Even do pensioners special, which is a good portion size.

This is my 3rd visit here. Myself and the two other people I was with all need to eat gluten free. The restaurant have separate friers for gluten free. We all had fish and chips. The batter on the fish was amazing! The fish was super fresh, really thick and tasty. Very competitive prices too..... The staff were really lovely and very efficient. We would highly recommend this place, especially if you're after a gluten free meal. We recommend the fish and chips... yummy Thanks for a superb meal. We're very happy customers.

Went here with my family for a take away not my first time and has always been very good and will be back again , definitely recommend this place. Forget to take pictures of food as we were all starving. Been back again 2/1/24 got a table this time same again lovely and will return again Been back again today 14/4/24 all plates cleared again.

THE HARBOUR VIEW REVIEWS

The food is absolutely delicious. The fish cooked to order. Lovely light crispy batter, succulent fish and no grease left in the box. Chips were perfectly cooked and a very large portion. We had a large fish between 2 of us and a portion of chips each, neither of us could finish it. Curry sauce is amazing too. The staff are lovely and friendly with a smile on their faces. Definitely recommend this place.

We have had fish and chips up and down the country but this is the best so far. We live in Sussex 341 miles away but its the third time we have been. Beware the portions of fish are large. Two regular cod and chips with curry sauce and a tea £33.90. Fantastic and we were stuffed.

Recommended by a local. Good service and fish delicious. It gets very busy. Unless you are really hungry, go for the regular fish.
