SHIREMOOR HOUSE FARM REVIEWS
Family meal for my granddaughter's birthday. Lovely food. I had scampi and it was the best I have ever eaten. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was excellent without being intrusive. Will certainly be back. Thank you to all the staff who made our outing so pleasant. Parking: Easy parking.
What a fantastic Sunday lunch! I've visited this pub a few times, but only ever for drinks. Glad we decided to come today, as the food is top notch. The premises itself is huge. It was a farm in times gone by. Inside and out, the place is lovely and everything is of a high standard, and I mean everything! Drinks wise, there is something to suit everyone's tastes. Whether you are a real ale fan, spirit or wine afficionado, or like your premium lagers, this pub has it all. Don't hesitate to come here for a meal and a few drinks with those you care about.
I recently went for a meal and drinks at this pub. The food was very tasteful with generous portions. The staff were friendly and the pub very clean. Recommended to friends and family.

LOW LIGHTS TAVERN REVIEWS
This place is an amazing little bar for great food and drink. I met this man Nigel Devine who made the place feel like my local pub back home. The staff was lovely. The food was fantastic( fish and chips) there was so much that I couldn't finish it all. You won't go hungry eating here. The portions are American sized. It was crowded with locals in the bar area but I was able to get into the music room for a meal and 2 pints. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting anywhere near Newcastle or North Shields.
( Wednesday 09/08/2023) I had a delicious plate of twice cooked chips, mushy peas ,salad, homemade tartar sauce, and beer battered cod. Karin had the salmon on a bed of pasta quills in a spicy ,creamy tomato sauce with garlic bread. We also ordered a side of beer battered onion rings. We both thought that the quality and portions were generous and top quality. The chap that welcomed us and served us was the real star of the Low Light Tavern. Delicious food, great value, and fantastic service.
Food is amazing ..had the meat pie and mash with gravy .. wife had meat pie and chips ..it also came with mushy peas ..amazing service twice checked if we needed more gravy or anything ..also Sam fenders brit as a beer pump pull!

THE GIBRALTAR ROCK REVIEWS
I remember this hs always been one of the the best places for a Sunday roast, but since going vegan I wasn't sure they would cater, the menu doesn't say. However I called ahead and they confirmed they could, we went in and it was fabulous. Definitely they besr Sunday roast and reasonably priced too. It wasn't as busy as usual but that might be as there was a good festival going on. Vegetarian options: Vegan sausage was available as the veggie option for the roast, very nice. Dietary restrictions: They prepared separate gravy and veg that didn't have butter on.
Had a lovely meal with my friend on Monday. Lovely clean pub, attentive and caring staff, a credit to the business! We were welcomed. There were no free chairs and tables outside so the staff (think was manager) got some out for us. My friend was Vegetarian, so veggie gravy and sausages were made for her. Great value for money, delicious pub food. Had a lovely tumbler of wine overlooking the beach with our food. A blond lady and brunette lady served us. They were brilliant .
Went in for the first time on a Friday afternoon. Place is lovely and clean and staff really friendly. We had a carvery and all three meats where delicious. The view of the prior and the sea is lovely. We will definitely be back again. We'll done guys.
