Had my hair done by Lucy, can not recommend this lady enough. Very welcoming, listens to everything you want then works her magic. I came away with exactly what I asked for. (Wasn't expecting with 1 sitting to get the colour I was aiming for) Amazing work so Thank you Lucy..

Had such an amazing experience here!! It was my first time bleaching my hair and Lucy listened to what I wanted so well and suggested things that turned out amazing! Every time I've had a pixie cut in the past it has turned into a cut I can't wait to grow out but with this one I wish it would stay forever! I booked a appointment with skye ... she was warm and made me feel comfortable and relaxed in her chair ... I Needed a change so she spoke about me having a Bob as it suited my face.. she wasn't wrong ... she listened to every thing I asked for I also came away from previous salons unhappy as they really didn't listen to what I asked for.. I have very thick hair I definitely need it thinning out.. for once I came away very happy I will be definitely booking with skye again Thank-you so much !

This salon is second to none! I always have such an amazing experience there, Sophie is by far one of the nicest stylists I’ve ever had. She is kind, efficient, caring and always gives 110% when it comes to my hair service. The other girls are also lovely and I always leave with a huge smile on my face. The salon is homely, cozy and full of life and it’s a pleasure to be around the staff. I’m always so well looked after there. I’ve given Sophie some huge challenges over the years and she’s always gone above and beyond and exceeded expectations. Have used this salon from day of opening 5 years ago and would never go elsewhere. Since the pandemic in 2020, these girls had it fought but they’ve only ever shown determination to work harder and the salon is always spotless. Couldn’t recommend them enough if you’re local to the area!

I’ve been going to Sophie and Bec for YEARS - I only trust this salon with my hair because they always do a stunning job and give me exactly what I want at a very reasonable price. Today I had a new hairdresser by the name of Laura and I was apprehensive having a new person cut my hair (after having the same girls for 10+ years). Laura did a PHENOMENAL job, I’m very indecisive so she made all the decisions with me whilst being patient and giving me thorough information on how the colour will look and where to cut my fringe etc. I am in love with my new do; (chocolate brown pieces put throughout along with several layers and some curtain bangs), and I will HIGHLY recommend all three ladies as their skills are fab and I’ve never left the salon feeling dissatisfied. If you’re looking for a new salon to try then I’d definitely suggest checking out Volume One - you won’t be disappointed!

I had the lovely blonde lady (didn't get her name) I had previously gone to another hairdressers and she had wrecked my hair. With very short notice this lovely lady helped me big time and made me feel and look amazing!! I would defo recommend her to anyone and everyone. I definitely will not be going anywhere else again,she wil be my hairdresser forever now. She's amazing! So welcoming, polite,smiley and chatty. She's just the best.
