TOP 3 DONNINGTON GROVE REVIEWS

What a gem of a place I will visit again and use as a retreat. You feel immediately welcome here in the beautiful grounds and you arrive through the golf course and over the pretty bridge. This would be so pretty for weddings. The golf areas have a sense of humour and the land is so well kept. We came for an afternoon tea, in this unstuffy but delightful tea room overlooking the lawns and lake, after which we were free to take ourselves out onto the sun terrace or into the bar with the golfers. Lots of room options too. I plan to stay next time.

Lovely room, ultra clean, great service from reception and room attendant/cleaner who was very helpful. Room was next to the training putting green. Lovely walks and so relaxing. Buffet breakfast, full English, croissants, cereals, yoghurt etc. Dedicated parking space. Definitely will return.

Pleasantly surprised. Value for money was incredible. The hotel itself is a little tired in places but we were warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. The food and service in Beau's was fabulous and the grounds are very pretty.

TOP 3 THE CHEQUERS HOTEL REVIEWS

We spent a 3 day weekend there as we were attending a local festival. From the start the staff were so helpful and polite. Offering to take luggage to rooms, free parking. Great buffet breakfast every morning. Bar food was tasty and reasonable. Rooms were clean and spacious. We were in room 104. Lovely garden to relax and have a drink with subtle lighting and beautiful ambience. All in all a fabulous stay and would highly recommend.

Stayed here a few times now and I absolutely LOVE it! Greta location, beautiful town, the hotel is fabulous, breakfast is amazing, such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the staff are fabulous, so helpful. Fully recommend if you are looking to stay in Newbury!

A well priced hotel, rooms clean and everywhere has been freshly painted. Food was excellent, for me the chefs pie and my wife the pork belly. Staff friendly and very helpful. Would not hesitate to return.

TOP 3 DONNINGTON VALLEY HOTEL AND SPA REVIEWS

This is honestly one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, in the UK. We visited in January, and everything was perfect from start to finish. Spa facilities were fantastic. Being upgraded to executive room for free, flawless. Bathroom, amazing. Views outside of the golf course, stunning. Breakfast in the morning, perfect. Good vegan and veggie options too. Management were lovely and so were the front desk. This will be our go to getaway from now on.

Wonderful time good food good atmosphere. Lovely location helpful staff would recommend to friends and family. Extremely comfortable rooms with all facilities there for you. Buffet style breakfast with a varied choice.

Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Comfy room. Spa and massage great. The food was delicious. Partner enjoyed the bar, very good cocktails. Will definitely revisit.
