BOMBAY STORY REVIEWS
Hubby and I had lunch as my birthday treat before we left on a weeks break to Somerset. We were still able to dine outside as the weather was kind and the outside area is completely protected against any prevailing chill or wind. Beautifully decorated outside with fresh and faux flowers transported us to a secluded place in India. The staff are patient and considerate, not wanting to rush us as we sat open mouthed at all the tempting dishes on the menu. We chose to have a selection of street food which were cooked and presented beautifully. Every mouthful was savoured as we ate with our eyes too. Stunning colours and flavours led us into the next round where we both chose signature curry’s with rice. We were full before we even started on that course. I didn’t think I could eat another thing until I was presented with a chocolate brownie, decorated with edible flowers and ‘Happy Birthday’ piped in chocolate on the plate. They kindly gave me another glass of pink bubbles to wash it down with. Excellent service with smiles throughout the service. Reasonable prices make this more affordable to visit more often. Will definitely be back soon.
Amazing service from the start. Hospitality is as it should be but very rarely found these days! Happy staff, very good cocktails at sensible prices, NOT watered down and over priced like sooo many establishments. Not rushed either. Cannot wait to go back.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bombay Story, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my visit.

THE TAMARIND TREE REVIEWS
Delicious food as always in The Tamarind Tree. When you visit Wokingham you are not short on choices for Indian restaurants but this one always delivers. Pedro particularly enjoyed the Baltic and Dahl.
Ate here last night and when arriving we felt very welcomed straight away. Service and food were excellent from Koush and the team! Lamb shank chefs special was delicious as the meat fell off the bone. Was even given a complimentary brandy as we’d been messed around by the taxi company on the way there.
Really great food and service. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend!!!

XENUK TANDOORI REVIEWS
Came here on a Monday evening with the family. We used to come for a Sunday buffet that was good, but we were happy to find that the very artistic but rather dated interior had been redone and the size of the restaurant reduced. Had high hopes after that and we were not disappointed with very high quality food and impeccable service.
We’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for ages and I wish we’d gone there sooner! The food was delicious! We tried a ranger of dishes, mild/spicy/chicken/prawn/lamb and they were all superb! The service was friendly and professional and the restaurant itself is modern and warm. Will definitely be going back again.
Was a great experience here would highly recommend raj was a great great and the owner had a great chat whole team was amazing and food was great!!
