“Caludon Castle Park hosts various events and activities. The park is a great place to relax, enjoy the open space, and explore the 14th-century ruins and historic sites. “The Weaver's House has been restored to reflect how it looked in 1540, including a full-size replica of a narrow loom. The House provides an overview of life in medieval Coventry, allowing visitors to learn how John Croke, a narrow-loom weaver, and his family would have lived and worked. The medieval garden features plants grown for food, flavour, medicine, and household use. The Weaver's House is a two-storey building, the upper floor, containing the loom, can be accessed by a ladder. Wheelchair access is also available through the side gate. Visitors can enjoy free open days that discuss John Croke's life and the history of the buildings. Groups, including schools, Brownies and Cubs, the Women's Institute, and weaving specialists, are welcome. Admission is free for all.”

CALUDON CASTLE PARK REVIEWS

Recent host of a few events. The park has been looked after in recent years. The expansion of the play area and it given a medieval theme has been lovely. New tennis courts and an outdoor gym area. Plenty of grass and a path that runs the perimeter. Local history site. Caludon Castle is host to many a legend and story. Including those of St George and William Shakespeare. Worth a visit on a nice day, bring a picnic, the kids, the dog...

Nice place to do your running exercise... just need to be aware of dog poo along the trail...like any other park some dog owners are just irresponsible... but there are a lot of friendly walkers with dogs their as well... best time to run between 5:30am to 6:30am if you want less people.

really beautiful place, many people walk their dogs here and they’re all very nice. one circuit is about 1.5km. there’s some fun equipment to use too!

We visited during the Heritage Open Days and we really enjoyed it. We’ve been here before but it’s been awhile. What a beautiful place. A real gem in the city. So much historical and so well preserved. Like the freedom that we could wander everywhere without people trying to get you to see something. The rooms are so intricate with so much history and detail. I felt you could spend an afternoon there if you loved history. I’d highly recommend a visit!

Loved my visit to the St Mary's Guildhall. There weren't many people inside when I went and this gave me time to explore all the rooms unbothered. It's also a great place to bring kids since they have a great selection of interactive places that tell the story of the city and England.

The whole experience was breathtaking! The music was played with so much passion it took me to another place. We will be back for more!

THE WEAVER'S HOUSE REVIEWS

Really underrated living history space! The interpreters and guides are very knowledgeable and it's amazing seeing how 16th century weavers lived. Really educational too so if you've got nerdy kids definitely a good option. When they're open, absolutely go visit.

Excellent little place with lots to see in a very small area. Funding is by donation and the volunteers are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. There's a little café with tea and coffee and home made cake. A perfect place on a spring day for an hour or so.

Amazing visit. Highly recommend. I was welcomed by a very knowledgeable young gentleman. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. The tour of the house is well worth it! I learnt so much. Great tea and cake too.
