Coventry Transport Museum houses the largest collection of British-made road transport held in public ownership. Midland Air Museum was founded in 1967 by the Midland Aircraft Preservation Society (MAPS) and opened to the public in April 1978 with 67 visitors. The museum has been showcased at many external events, including the SBAC Show at Farnborough. Midland Air Museum has established strong connections with the local community and educational institutions, such as Coventry University, and with local, national, and international industry. In 1990, it became one of the first independent aviation museums to gain the prestigious registration status from the Government Museum and Galleries. The Midland Air Museum offers special rates for groups of 10 or more.

The Coventry Music Museum is an independent museum that serves as a museum, art gallery, music records archive and other facilities. They have an interactive media studio focusing on 2-Tone albums and immersive displays on local music history. Visitors have much to see and do, including events designed to engage and entertain younger tourists. The museum is where visitors can try their hand and making music. The Coventry Music Museum is the lifelong project of journalist Pete Chambers and his wife, Julie, who are always happy to chat with visitors. The museum is wheelchair accessible, and volunteers can assist and explain exhibits to blind and partially sighted visitors.

2025 Update: The museum has collections and exhibitions containing a variety of musical apparatus, most notably from Coventry-born and based musicians and musical groups.
