This has to be the best free motor museum in England. The displays are very well presented showing the history of cycle and motor vehicles in Coventry. Including the companies that existed in the early days that developed into motor manufacturers. The Jaguar car display is brilliant both in exhibits and displays. Also a simulator of the land speed record vehicle.

Great for a single, couple or a family visit. Laid back venue, but crammed with interesting exhibits and friendly staff. We had a detailed account of what it was like to fly in a Vulcan on a mission (incredibly cramped). There are piston and turbine engines and all the well-told narrative of the part they played in various conflicts around the world as well as peacetime missions also the history of their development a lot of it quite local too. We got much more and being surprisingly impressed.

This museum is a true gem of musical history. We visited a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much we bought a friend to experience it this time. There is such a warm welcome to this very reasonably priced attraction. The guides have such a breath of knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion it just brings the whole experience to life. This museum is a Tardis and just contains so much information, memorabilia, and collections. I love the sound booth even if it was a little before my time.
