COOMBE ABBEY REVIEWS
We spent a night in one of the grand feature rooms. Nice room, a couple of small issues like a lamp not working but that wasn't a big deal. We had dinner in the Garden restaurant and breakfast the next morning. Food was very nice, and the staff were excellent. The grand feature rooms are located in a fairly new building behind the main house, and ours had a mezzanine floor that contained the bathroom (although the toilet was downstairs for convenience). It was a decent size room, with a 4 poster king size bed. I mentioned the location of the room, because if you book one of these rooms it's worth noting that you're not staying in the main Abbey building. The package came with complementary parking. Drinks are typically expensive hotel prices. It was a really enjoyable evening and overnight stay. I have no complaints at all.
I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Coombe Abbey. The staff at Coombe Abbey went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, professional, and extremely accommodating, making it a breeze to capture every magical moment. The bride and groom, as well as their guests, were equally impressed with the venue's service and attention to detail. I had the opportunity to capture the whole wedding group from one of the room , looking over the garden.
Visited for afternoon tea and punting. It was that good, we thought we will come back for seconds for both!! So a year on, this time the otherway round..Punting first then afternoon tea. Anthony who guided us on the Punting trip was absolutely brilliant we loved every second of every moment and will be back again for sure....highly recommend!! The afternoon tea was great too!

VILLAGE HOTEL REVIEWS
Stayed for one night with my wife. Excellent gym and swimming pool was included in the room rate. Breakfast was standard buffet style but all nice, no complaints at all. Also worked for the day in the vworks hotdesk area which I pleased to find was also included as part of the room rate, and that was a lovely relaxing space to work. Bar was good with quality choice of drinks and friendly service.
We used the village hotel for a ball function. The staff in preparation with very communicative and helpful. They genuinely seemed to care and want our event to be the best it possibly could be. During the actual event, the staff were all very friendly, the room was BEAUTIFUL. Everything was exactly how we'd requested, ample size and the decorations were stunning. The highlight of the evening was definately the food. Despite somewhat limited options, the food was a decent size and absolutely delicious with everyone being very satisfied by the end!
Great weekend deal for price on Sunday. Access to gym, and the food for breakfast and dinner package was easily worth it. Bed was large and comfy, easily fit 2. not overly extra space in room but that’s ok. Bathroom was large and good water pressure. Beware they do give a knock at 10:30am to let you know they’re about to start cleaning rooms for next people, unless someone randomly knocked we assumed that’s what it was. Gave us a chuckle. 5/5. Would definitely stay at again.

DOUBLETREE BY HILTON REVIEWS
Great hotel with nice reception area for drinks or to chill and people watch. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Big thank you to the duty Manager that made us and our four legged friend (pet dog) feel so welcome. Check in staff member forgot the cookies until mentioned. If anything could do with improving it would just be to maybe refurbish the rooms and pool area. There’s a Tesco Extra, Cinema, Bowling Alley and lots of fast food restaurants just across the road if not eating in the hotel restaurant. A great stay though and would highly recommend.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The facilities were really nice. The food was a bit over priced but was nice. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacey , bed wasn't the comfiest. But would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay again.
This hotel is located in a very quiet place of the town. After a long day of work, when you go to the hotel, it’s so peaceful. I love the bench outside the hotel, where at night you can sit and enjoy the Sky with a drink in your hand.
