POWDERHAM CASTLE REVIEWS
What a fabulous day out. There was so much to see, with a walled garden and grounds flowing down ti the Exe and loads of wild deer. The tour was outstanding, very informative and entertaining. We also loved looking at all the art for sale. So glad we stopped here.
Wow what a beautiful castle and gardens indeed, so worth a visit, cld have stayed for longer! Went around using the audio devices. Enjoyed the little petting garden also seeing all the animals was lovely too. Friendly and helpful staff also. Loved seeing all the swifts by the castle bird I've never seen before. Clean toilets.
A fabulous place to visit. If you get Dave as your guide you've hit the jackpot he's fantastic, passionate, funny and caring. The walled garden is a must if you have small children, plenty of space to play and so many fab animals to get to know. The staff and the facilities are fantastic. Highly recommend you visit.

Exeter Castle is one of Devon's distinctive event and wedding venues in the heart of Exeter City Centre. This historic yet contemporary location boasts a rich heritage, originally constructed by the Romans and later extensively restored during the reign of King Athelstan. It is also referred to as Château de Rougemont. Exeter Castle combines modern and traditional cultural, commercial, and residential spaces. The venue offers a striking setting with a blend of unique cultural, industrial, and residential areas. EXETER CASTLE REVIEWS
Have been to a couple of events here. Its a fascinating venue right in the heart of Exeter which is very handy. Both the events were quite different but the venue handled the diverse requirements for the different set ups very well. I even got the chance to visit the old cells down stairs! Interesting graffiti on the cell walls.
A relaxing, comfotable, clean, modern place with professional staff. First time there, the quality of service was very good. Thank you for Aesthetica Spa.
Last place for witches to be burned. Stunning architecture.

EXETER GUILDHALL REVIEWS
This building has been the centre of the city's wealth and judicial system since the 14th century. It is the oldest public building still used regularly by the city councillors in the country. Once the centre of the county's justice system until the 1970s. It has the names of the past Mayors, Receivers and Recorders as well as the emblems of the individual trades that took place within the city. It also has four cells, no longer in regular use, as well as a dungeon beneath your feet.
Beautiful building (and warm on a freezing day) where I was greeted by a very knowledgeable gentleman and since there was no-one else there, was fortunate enough to have a private tour. He then recommended some other historic sights, gave me a map, and I had a fabulous day out. It turns out the guildhall is just one of Exeter's gorgeous buildings. 5 stars from me.
Beautiful for a quick visit. Free entry. One of the oldest in England.
