Superb interior; architecturally historically and aesthetically. Great layout and full viewing of and English Duke's just-out-of-town house. Impressive library, with touching personal details left for all to view. Mix of styles throughout the reception rooms. Do't' miss the various Royal portraits; some on the upper floor, tucked out of the way. The glass/greenhouse is an architectural gem. The grounds extensive and peaceful - apart from the continual stream of aircraft coming into land.

This museum is located within Thames Water property and consists of the Pumping station and equipment once used to pump water to London. The massive triple pumps are the largest working examples in the world and are really impressive. The workings are explained on a series of boards and the building itself is an exhibit in its own right. The mini railway is a very useful attraction if you have children in the group. It is a fairly large engine with carriages to ride in and is maintained.
