A highlight for me is the 4000+-year-old Japanese artefacts. It's amazing that these intricate items have survived for so long! The casts area is also a wonderful way to see some amazingly detailed replicas of famous artists from around the world in their full sizes. This museum is a great place to see lots of art from many different cultures. Definitely add this museum to your list if you're in London!

The Victoria & Albert is probably the best museum in the whole of London. Its collection presents all different forms of arts and design in a beautiful way and allows one to have a view of all the craftsmanship thought-out history.

One of London’s finest museums with a permanent collection and amazing seasonal exhibitions. The building is just stunning and each one of the ballroom is more beautiful than the other. The courtyard is a great place to chill and soak up some sun on a beautiful day

Have just returned from a day out in London Zoo. We had tried to take advantage of the 241 National Rail offer online,many times prior to our visit but the code for verification never worked.However,at ticket booth & several attempts of staff trying ,they agreed we could have the offer on showing our train tickets. The zoo is amazing ,lots of well kept, interesting enclosures and informative talks on various different animals. To see a baby gorilla,,lions ,tigers ,sloths,penguins,and a whole array of mini beasts and night time animal activity is credit to the keepers. My gripe is with the choice of food at the Terrace restaurant. There is nothing healthy at all to eat and the atmosphere is like eating at McDonald's.It was strewn with waste food & napkins and really an unpleasant place to eat . Not everyone likes ,burgers ,pizza,fish & chips .You should have a section where it's a smaller environment and serves a better choice of food for couples,or retired people single people who don't always want to be around kids . A cream tea would be nice.

This historic zoo is over 200 years old! I loved seeing the historic architecture and the animals enjoying their surroundings. We could get really close to many of the animals, which my kid especially enjoyed. The zoo has different sections for different animals, like a tiger territory, rainforest, bird area, and butterfly palace. It's quite a large place, so plan on spending 6-8 hours to see everything. They have picnic tables with shade, so you can bring your own food or buy something from their food stalls.

Really lovely zoo. Exhibits are interesting and well-maintained, staff are known and friendly, and there are lots of things to inform and entertain kids and adults alike. I love that you could actually walk into some of the exhibits! The cafe is extortionate, but the gift shop has plenty of variety for different interests and budgets. My husband and I spent a good 6 hours at the zoo exploring the exhibits, chatting with staff, resting in the sunshine, etc. Would like to go back to try some of the experiences and the zoo at night.
