St James’s Park is a lovely oasis in the city. Located very close to Buckingham Palace and Westminster it is easily accessible by foot, bus, taxi or tube. It’s also close to Green Park which links to Picadilly. St James’s Park has accessible facilities as well as a cafe/restaurant and various coffee and snack shacks which can be consumed in the park as there is plenty of seating available around the lake. A children’s play area provides a little respite for tired parents and there is a good coffee shack next door! Don’t forget to take some monkey nuts to feed the squirrels which are quite bold and will often take the nut off the palm of your hand. Enjoy!

Large green space with plenty of shady areas to sit and rest along with many walking paths to wander about the park. The park also contains a large lake filled with ducks & geese with other birds sitting at the waters edge. During the summer there are many gardens filled with amazing flowers, just so beautiful Worth a walk through on you way around the city.

A great place to get close to nature. The environment here is good and very close to Buckingham Palace. It is suitable for picnics and enjoying life. It is worth mentioning that you can see pelicans up close here, which is a great experience!

One of my favourite parks in London. The park is absolutely huge with pretty much anything you want even a zoo. Personally the lake with the ducks is my favourite area. The place looks stunning during spring with the bloom. It’s my favourite to bring my dog, since there’s quiet pockets away from people. Playground: There’s a playground near the cafe Dog-friendliness: There are off lead areas for dogs here but be sure to check specifics. As a general rule if your close to the wildlife it’s not an off leash area.

Great big park with wild places and formal parts, stuff your face with wild blackberries and then stuff your face with ice cream from a fancy old truck near the Italian fountains. See the Albert memorial and Diana’s beautiful commemorative garden. We didn’t check out the palace inside, there was a full day of activity on the outside. We walked all through this park and Hyde park to Buckingham Palace at night with no problems and all green spaces all the way.

The Regent's Park is a stunning oasis in the heart of the city. With beautifully manicured gardens, serene lakes, and wide-open spaces, it’s perfect for picnics, walks, and relaxation. The park also features a zoo and sports facilities, making it ideal for family outings. Highly recommended!
