Hyde Park is one of the greatest and wonderful city parks in the world. It covers 142 hectares (350 acres) and with over 4,000 trees, a meadow, a large lake and ornamental flower gardens. The park offers a wide range of leisure activities from informal games of frisbee through to boating on The Serpentine and horse riding. The south carriage drive playground is an exciting and adventurous play area that sits on the southern boundary of the Park. A spectacular garden is featuring rose planting mixed with herbaceous planting to create strong scents and rich seasonal flower beds. You can enjoy a broad range of events in the park, from high-profile music concerts to local community events. Hyde Park Park has Senior Playground that includes six pieces of exercise equipment to help users improve flexibility, core strength and balance. The park has two lakeside restaurants which serve everything from a three-course meal to a quick cup of coffee. There is also a cafe for spectators & players."

St James's Park is one of London's eight Royal Parks and covers an area of nearly 57 acres. It is the home to the Mall, with many ceremonial parades and events of national celebration. The park has Pelicans, St James's cafe, horse guards parade, The Mall, The blue bridge, duke of york statue and Buckingham palace flower beds. The Blue Bridge offers stunning views across St James's Park Lake to Buckingham Palace to the west and Big Ben, Horse Guards Parade, and the London Eye towards the east. There's a children's playground and deckchairs from April to September. The park has a modern British restaurant café open from breakfast through to dinner. St James's Park offers four refreshment kiosks."
