ROYAL ALBERT DOCK REVIEWS

Had a lovely day walking around the Albert dock, there was lots of events happening as it was a beautiful summer day. We had a look in most of the shops, including the new Harry Potter shop. There were lots of places to dine and drink. We decided on the cafe from the museum as it had lovely outdoor seating and seemed a little less busy. The food was delicious. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend it and I'd like to visit again.

We spent most of the summer evening here to watch the sunset and relax. There are a couple of museums , picturesque buildings around and small stalls for food and coffee. You can sit back and watch the dockside ships and get a nice breeze. Parking availability is limited.

Fabulous waterfront development , it is some years since I was last here and there is tons of stuff to see and do, all within easy walking distance. If arriving by train , don't be put off by the grotty area around Lime Street Station, it gets better very quickly.

ST GEORGE'S HALL REVIEWS

Wonderful evening here for a Spanish Flamenco evening. The building is vast and spectacular,yet felt cosy for this event. The architecture is breathtaking. The plaster work and chandelier are worth the ticket price even without a show! The staff on this evening were friendly and professional . We booked tickets through Fever. Highly recommend.

Our first visit to the hall and what a way to see it. The Enlightenment show ( Eonarium) I've done another separate review of the actual show prior to this one (check my other reviews) You still have time to see it (ticket availability permitting) before it ends in Liverpool. Spectacular show in a beautiful setting.

Great venue for events but also stands out to be a building of stature. It boasts of grand pillars, lots of statues and has a nice park/courtyard to the rear which all can enjoy. The venue is almost opposite Lime Street Station. Take time to take in the beauty of this place.

CENTRAL LIBRARY REVIEWS

Liverpool Central Library is a perfect place if you need to study or just look up general information. It has a huge number of books and resources for anyone to gain new perspectives and insights. The library building is massive with heritage exterior but modern and contemporary interior. I was not expecting much when we first thought of stepping into the library. But I was proven wrong. There is also a nice cafe within where you can sit and relax with a book and coffee with you. The grandest thing of the library is the Pictan reading room. If you get to visit Liverpool, do not miss being at the library.

Such a beautiful building. Very centrally located, close to the train station. Easy to commute to. It's just as modern inside as it looks traditional from the outside. Friendly staff. There is a cafe inside with drinks hot and cold, a selection of sweet and savoury items. The cafe staff are wonderful and happy to fill up your water bottle!

I was amazed by the Central Library in Liverpool! From the outside, it has a classic, historical buildings, but once you step inside, it’s a whole different experience. The sleek, modern design is absolutely stunning.
