They have water-based activities, including a regular swimming pool, a teaching pool, and a toddlers' pool. The multi-purpose sports hall is available for hire for various sports, from badminton to table tennis. An entire cardiovascular and weight resistance facility is available at Wishaw Sports Centre to maintain clients' fitness. Also, a full outdoor competition with a standard 400m track, steam room, and sauna is available. The centre also has a smorgasbord of fitness classes in the various suites.

2025 Update: Wishaw Sports Centre also has various membership plans based on activities and pricing.”

“Shotts Leisure Centre has the latest Star Trac cardiovascular and fixed strength equipment and an extended free weights area by Cybex International. Shotts Leisure Centre offers a main multi-purpose sports hall known for 4-a-side football, badminton, basketball, volleyball, netball and other indoor sports. Shotts Leisure Centre features a brand new functional zone, including Battle Ropes, TRX, Power bags, and a Functional Frame. Free parking is available. The experienced staff, some of whom have worked there since the centre opened, are friendly and care about the regular customers who have been attending regularly for over 20 years. They provide game halls, health suites, and fitness classes.

2025 Update: The family fun sessions within Shotts swimming pool will run on Sundays, and membership is also available.”

The Centre is fantastic! The swimming facilities are excellent, with a regular pool, teaching pool, and a dedicated toddlers' pool. My kids love their swimming lessons here, and it’s such a relief knowing they’re learning in a safe environment. The staff is incredibly supportive, making each visit enjoyable for both kids and parents.

I absolutely love the outdoor competition-standard 400m track! It's great for both serious athletes and those just looking to improve their fitness levels. The atmosphere is always positive, and I often see local clubs training there. It’s inspiring to be part of such an active community!"

Free parking at Airdrie Leisure Centre is a huge bonus! It makes visiting the centre so much more convenient, especially during busy times. I can easily pop in for a quick workout or attend a class without worrying about parking costs. The centre itself has a welcoming vibe, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I frequently play on the 3G football pitch, and it's a top-notch facility! The floodlit feature allows for evening games, and the quality of the pitch is excellent. I appreciate how accessible the centre makes it for local teams to book time on such a great surface.

SHOTTS LEISURE CENTRE REVIEWS

The new functional zone is a game changer! I really enjoy using the Battle Ropes and TRX equipment. It adds an exciting element to my workouts, and I feel like I’m getting a comprehensive training session every time I visit. The staff are always there to offer tips and motivation, which I find incredibly helpful.

My son attends here for a Taekwondo class. The staff are always so lovely. The place is well maintenance and clean. The times we are in the pool always looks busy too. A great thing to have in the community.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is good but more for kids. Funny shape for swimming lengths.
