“Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life is a free-entry industrial & social history museum that was formerly known as Summerlee Heritage Park and is based on the site of 19th-century iron works. The Museum has 180,000 visitors annually and is now one of Scotland's leading 'free-to-enter' attractions. Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life has a huge undercover exhibition hall with various interactive exhibits, hands-on activities for children, and working machinery to view. The houses in the Museum show the domestic side of their lives from the 1840s to the 1980s. Visitors can see the working heritage tramway with restored working tram cars. Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life also has a large play area with a wide range of slides, climbing frames, and an accessible swing and trampoline.
