VIOLIN LESSONS WITH ALISON

30 Holst Close, Basingstoke Deane RG22 4JA, UK Directions

Speciality:

Violin Suzuki-Style Lessons

2025 Update: Violin Lessons with Alison teaching violin pupils from age 5 to adults. Alison is a violin teacher. Alison wanted to play the violin since she could say the word, and finally started violin lessons at the age of 5. She started as a Suzuki pupil, and continued as such until the age of 16, when she began her music A-Level. After A-Levels, Alison studied music at university, gaining her degree in 2005. She also holds ABRSM Grade 8 Violin and Grade 5 piano. Alison gives Suzuki-style lessons to beginners, with pupils learning how to play the instrument without the musical notation first, then being gradually introduced to it when they are ready. This means learning a lot by ear and listening to pieces on CD to help memorise the notes.
