PRESTON PARK REVIEWS

Lovely park, with two large areas, a little walk through trees and some little gardens such as a paved and boarders rose garden, playground, and a couple of cute hidden gardens for a more enclosed feel. Nice looking tennis courts and two good cafes. There are toilets, at both cafes- which are open with the cafe. Dogs- my dog loves Preston park for the trees and squirrels & the open space for meeting other dogs and playing frisbie. There is lots of space to have you own area for frisbie/ball. Take care of your dog chasing squirrels in the trees as they can access the road.

Beautiful Park. Perfect for those with young children and those with pets alike! Large green areas perfect for sports & picnics. Many walking trails and also features a running track perfect for those enthused athletes looking for somewhere to train. Would highly recommend to anyone here in Brighton

Was here for the Thai festival mid August, parking nearby was good, really lively and entertaining festival full of different food. Portaloos, entertainment, loads of Thai cuisine, kids entertainment (bouncy assault course, high jump thing, hook a duck) really friendly and atmosphere, defo worth a visit.

Aways something happening. In a good way and in a bad way. Seen fighting, robbery and other unpleasant things. Twice this year I have had people trying to rob me. Seen police vans darting across the green many times . Plus please be aware of drug needles on the grass, bushes and toilets. On a good day it's the best park in Brighton and Hove but on a bad day, it can be a nightmare. But still by a long way the best place to chill in Brighton.

Amazing skatepark, some very impressive local skater and not too many kids/ scooters to worry about. At my home park I feel like the only Skateboarder but not here. Great Street, Transtion and Bowl. And the shop is right next door.

Always a nice place to go to with the grandchildren when the sun is out, better without the wind, though.

QUEEN'S PARK REVIEWS

I love going to Queens park, it is a lovely place to go during all months of the year. In autumn, the colorful leaves are specially beautiful to admire. There are many dogs in the park playing, and there are dog-free zones as well. There's a children's park, a lovely pond and lots of green space. My favourite activity is to feed the squirrels and ducks around the park. The squirrels are quite friendly and will fetch peanuts from your hand, or you can throw them in their direction, it's a nice place to go for a refreshing walk. I will say that there are stone paths around the park if you don't want to step in the grass, but the park itself is a bit steep, going up and down, night be an issue if you have special mobility needs.

Beautiful park , amazing variety of trees & a huge pond with ducks, geese and moorhen - shame about all the seagulls but they stay out of your way most of the time ! So nice to just sit,anywhere in the park - benches Made locally and they are in pretty much every spot you could imagine.

This is a lovely park. It has a large pond with swans, ducks and geese. There are secluded areas. There is a childrens play area with toilets and a cafe. Half of it is dog free; in the other half dogs can run off a lead. It also has tennis courts.
