I have been looking for a good barber for almost a year in Brighton and no one came close to the expertise or quality of the haircut I received today. Hossein had been professional, friendly & just excellent man all around. He pays attention to the examples you give and does not use 'template' haircuts like many other barbers. If you want a haircut that will grow out nicely, look exactly how you want it to then go to this salon!

I've been searching around Brighton for a new barber since my last barber left the area after cutting my hair for 10 years. After lots of rubbish and expensive trials, I found Cutter and Grinder on Booksy. Hossein hands done gives the best haircut I've ever had, the shop is relaxed and well presented, and the conversation flows easily. My new favorite place to go for a haircut.

Husain and his team are great. I arrived without a booking and he went out of his way to accommodate me in their schedule. The shop is in a great location, the atmosphere and furnishings are cleverly and carefully curated and it feels more like a friendly, connected, comfortable sensory and visual experience than a quick haircut!!! And most importantly, the haircut was excellent.

Came to Brighton for a couple of days and my wife told me my beard needed trimming. Got in with Declan and he was great. The whole atmosphere I had my first hair cut with these lads and they did exactly as I asked for! Was really happy with it and then a couple of days later thought it would be a good idea to try and make the back short by myself (I've never cut hair and still not really sure why I tried this) After butchering the back of my head I went back to Tallboys and showed them the damage, we had a good laugh about it and they fixed it at no extra cost. Thank you for saving the day Tallboys!!! ***I would give them 6 stars if possible***

A fantastic experience from the moment you walk in. Professional but friendly. Ryan is by far the most talented barber I have ever been to. The time and effort he puts in is second to none. He knows exactly what style I want every time even with my mumbling descriptions. He is honestly and artist and his skill is only beaten by his personality. All the guys there are really friendly and the whole atmosphere is chill and amazing.

Had my hair cut here 4 times so far and have loved every single cut. I've been anxious before in the past to go to barbershops as a woman but I have always felt comfortable here. A bonus is Otto the dachshund!

The prices are very affordable, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this barber shop to anyone looking for top-quality service at great value.

Best to book online on Booksy - but I walked in got an appointment booked. Was looked after by Ash - haircut and beard trim. Did a fantastic job - very quick as well! Great price. Highly recommended

Ash and everyone there are amazing great vibe and just a great barbers all round. Been going here for well over a year 100% suggest them.
