“Peel Park features pretty landscaping with information boards and monuments that make you think about the past. The park is near the Salford Museum, in front of the valley and next to Crescent Road in Salford. The park provides many facilities, including an outdoor gym, MUGA, pavilion, and children's play area. Peel Park has areas for hosting events and gym equipment. Peel Park is open, and there are no entry fees. The park is wheelchair accessible and features a river with ducks, a playground with toys, and a small sandbox for children. There are picnic benches, lovely flowers, and ongoing improvements to enhance the visitor experience.

2025 Update: Peel Park provides Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot facilities and no entry fees.”

“Buile Hill Park offers ideal conference and banqueting facilities with two suites to suit all your needs. The park is listed on the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England. PEEL PARK REVIEWS

Very beautiful park located opposite to Salford Museum and Art Gallery. There are plenty to tracks to walk, old trees, playground, bridge with view for the river. I seen Canadian gees there. Great place for walk alone or with dog, meeting and chatting with friends.

One of my favourite parks, even in the winter. During the spring flower beds are planted and the trees are gorgeous. There’s a beautiful river streaming through that just adds to the calming atmosphere of the place.

Great park, clean and well maintained. Its dog friendly and very single dog we've met in the park was exceptionally behaved. My puppy loves this place, especially running and jumping around the little hill area.

CLIFTON COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS

A really nice area for long walks on trails in the woods, paths and open spaces. Lots of waté views too with River Irwell running through this country park and sculptures on the Irwell Sculpture Trail.. A playground not too far from the car park for the kids to let off some steam, places to eat picnics, dog friendly trails and a nice cafe situated at the edge of the car park for a treat before or after your walk! If you love the outdoors it's a lovely place to spend a few hours.

Always a treat to visit. Spacious and beautiful with easy accessible pathways, a stunning reservoir & gorgeous views. Large playground near entrance, woodland trail with carved wooden sculptures, a waterfall & river beach area, lots of benches to stop and enjoy the view or to feed the squirrels. A cafe in the carpark too with toilets plus free parking. Love this place!

Great place! Lovely for a family walk and so much to discover and explore. My 9 year old loved the playground and we liked learning about the old coal mine when we adventured into the woods. Good for younger ones too as there is a sculpture trail to follow around the water. Nice little cafe and toilets available in the carpark.

BUILE HILL PARK REVIEWS

One of the best parks in Salford, Manchester. its vibrant and you can take a walk in the Morning or late afternoon. You can bring your pets or kids and sit on the park benches. During sunny winter days you can see Squirrels and different birds all around the park. During late evening you can enjoy the silence and get lost in your thoughts. Best place to be all by yourself.

Buile Hill Park is a big park in Salford. It is closed to the A6 and M602 and provided several free paring spaces. There is a hall available to hire for events (not free). Tennis courts and children playgrounds are also available. Dogs are welcome as well. You will be able to watch brilliant fireworks in Bonfire Night.

Great park for dog walking. So many dogs and huge open areas. Some enclosed to let them run free. Great group of people at the “golf park”. Got some lovely pictures from there. And great selection of sticks.
