Hanley Park is a town park that covers about 63 acres of land. The town of Hanley has developed the park over the past five years. The popular sensory play area includes various play equipment, stimulating a child's senses. Hanley Park offers a variety of facilities, including a restored Pavilion, a boathouse, an all-weather, floodlit sports zone for cricket, football, basketball and tennis, a restored bandstand, a crown green bowling green, fishing, a lake with fountains, a sensory play area, a children's play zone, and public art sculptures. There are a lot of seating areas for diners. The Boathouse has access to events. Hanley Park is also perfect for an intimate champagne and afternoon tea wedding reception.

2025 Update: Hanley Park has a Boathouse available for hire all year round and is ideal for meetings/conferences of up to 50 attendees and social events for up to 100 guests.

Additionally, there is a tearoom where you can find food, drinks, and more. There are plenty of benches to sit on. Longton Park has skateboard facilities, including ramps and rails, multi-use sports and tennis courts. There is ample free parking on the road outside. Longton Park has a very individual character and is one of the city's heritage parks. The park houses a range of buildings, including the clock tower and three bowling pavilions.
