HANLEY PARK REVIEWS
Long time since I have been to Stoke. But first time I have ever been to the local park not far from the train station. Was quite surprised with Hanley Park, as it’s quite big and encompassing a vast array of amenities which include playgrounds for the children, toilets which at bit of a let down as there were no locks on the cubicles and left in a poor state. Nice to have a look around, as it bigger than I thought and also had a lake with a variety of bird life. Bandstand as a focal point and beautiful gardens too. Offers quite abit with sports activities and just a leisurely walk beside the canal. Would come again.
Absolutely beautiful park, so scenic, and well thought out. 3 different kids play areas, and lovely views also. Kept so clean and lovely, thank you for providing this place.
I will recommend to visit and go for a nice walk around in the park. There is lovely small lake and pond, play ground, bridge above the river. I was delighted with the greenery in this place at this time of the year. I seem crocuses, snowdrops, some other early blooming flowers. Some people used to sit on the ground and made a picnic with friends. This place has plenty of beautiful trees and birds, walking trails. Just come and see.

CENTRAL FOREST PARK REVIEWS
Beautiful park in the centre of the city! Great for my mobility walker as the car park overlooks the lake and the paths are level and smooth. There is a public toilet and cafe near the car park. The lake has a little island in the middle of it and has lots of geese, ducks and gulls. A highly recommended place to visit with family.
Lovely place to take the kids and have a walk about. Plenty of geese and ducks to watch and a lovely little place to get food, drinks etc.
Love taking our dog around here she loves it and we do because we can go the cafe and grab a coffee to walk around with.

Longton Park, also known as Queen's Park, is celebrated for its exquisite horticulture, impressive trees, and picturesque lakes. Within its extensive grounds, you'll discover a well-equipped playground, a football pitch, and even a skateboard park alongside tennis courts; however, the park is so extensive that you can easily bypass these if they're not your preference. For refreshments, there's a tearoom offering a variety of food and drinks and conveniently located toilets. Abundant benches are scattered throughout the park, providing plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Longton Park boasts excellent skateboard facilities, ramps and rails, and multi-use sports and tennis courts. It possesses a distinct character and holds a special place among the city's heritage parks, featuring various notable buildings, including the iconic clock tower and three charming bowling pavilions.

LONGTON PARK REVIEWS
A delightful green space that offers a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle. I was thoroughly impressed by its serene atmosphere, well-maintained grounds, and array of amenities. One of the highlights of Longton Park is its beautiful landscape. The park boasts lush green lawns and mature trees that create a tranquil and picturesque setting. Walking through the park, I couldn't help but feel a sense of serenity and peace.
Large, tidy, well looked after park. Has a play area which is great for kids , green areas to sit on, a mini lake with lots of ducks, large mature trees, very scenic. You can spend a while here walking round, especially with kids. Looks beautiful in spring.
Lovely tidy park, with a great children's playground. A lake and tame squirrels you can feed nuts to, if you bring some. A very reasonable priced café, that is run by volunteers that help people gain employment skills.
