The staff are up to date with the information of various pets, they all seem to be very passionate about at least one type of animal. Even with knowledge on hamster care, I still learnt a few new things from the lady who helped us. All the hamsters and birds were in spacious enclosures and looked well cared for. The cost wasn't as painful as I expected too and I felt comfortable buying the items knowing it would help my new hamster's welfare. This is the only pet shop I have ever gone to that hit my expectations of what a pet shop should be like. Little Rory is now settling in his new home now thanks to them!

Excellent shop well worth the visit. Very well stocked with a surprisingly good selection of poultry foods and equipment, aviary and exotics supplies at reasonable price. Good selection of caged birds, reptiles and pet invertebrates; all immaculately kept, with lots of enrichment and clean enclosures. I didn't get chance to check out the rest but looks like they are well stocked for any sort of pet you may have. Shop is nicely presented and everything easy to find. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

I visited here to introduce my 5 year old son to various pets. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to us.

Visited here a few days ago. The site is very well laid out. Plenty of parking. Disabled bays are provided for those that need them. There is a well stocked shop on site that sells a good selection of pet and wild animal food and equipment. Prices are reasonable and staff are pleasant and helpful. They have an annual Christmas fete every year with plenty of stalls. Those interested in adopting a pet can visit the kennels and cattery to see who is looking for a new home.

We adopted little Cockle from Woodside last Sunday, and we hardly saw him for 2 days as he was a bit nervous, and hid under the kitchen cabinets! It didn't take long for him to come out of his shell though, and now he is very relaxed and extremely well behaved. No accidents at all, he is a very good boy when using his litter tray and he even uses his scratching g post. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers at woodside, you do a fantastic job. Just thought I'd let you know that we love Cockle and he seems to like us too.

People that work there are amazing and helpful.Always have been.we had our old little girl from here before and she was 16 and a half years when we lost her.Thinking of adopting from here again soon. The shop has changed and grown a lot since the last time we popped in.we will be back. Thanks.
