Colne Valley Museum is to show visitors the way of life of the people of the old Yorkshire west riding who in the 19th century produced worsted and woollen cloth in their homes. You can see what their homes were like and how they set up the looms and other equipment to make sure the families were able to make a living. They have a schedule of short presentations and special weekends when they demonstrate family tasks and food.
