PAUL BANWELL, FRCS(PLAST) REVIEWS
I would highly recommend Paul Banwell and his team! From start to finish they were excellent at coming back to me with any concerns I had and with booking appointments. I also wanted to go a little bit bigger than recommended. Mr Banwell supported my decision to do this and I was not disappointed with the results. When the day of the operation eventually arrived I was very nervous but the whole team were very reassuring and kind. Any questions or worries were addressed with empathy and patience. Thank you so much Mr Banwell and team.
I am very happy with my breast reduction and lift which was performed by Mr Banwell. I did a lot of research before choosing Mr Banwell and I am glad I did. The results of my breast reduction and lift far exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier. I would also like to mention how wonderful the staff at the McIndoe Hospital were during my stay and also Mr Banwell's office staff were always available and very helpful. I would definitely recommend The Banwell Clinic.
I went to see Mr Banwell several times before committing to surgery. He decided on the best weight implants for me based on my body shape and weight. We decided to go over the muscle which is less invasive and as I had enough breast tissue already. The staff looked after me very well before during and after my surgery. The recovery was easier than I thought it would be. It's very important to follow all the pre and post op advice they give you. I would say definitely have someone at home with you for the first few days as your quite immobile and it's tricky getting up from a resting backwards position. I would recommend taking a pillow with you for the journey home to go under the seat belt for comfort. And get the recommend surgical bra as you will be wearing this for 2 months post surgery day in day out. I woke up in mine with no bandaging at all. Also buy a V shaped back pillow ! It gives you a lot of support post op and I slept with mine for the first couple of weeks. You can shower but you have to keep your tape dry so drying it with a hide dryer after a shower is essential to keep the scars clean. Make sure you walk about each day afterward to keep the blood flowing. My breasts were high up and big and round and swollen for the first week. After this they very slowly started to soften and fluff. I am now 2 months post op and am able to wear what I like. I would say they felt a little strange to start with but that's why you need to wear the support bra for 8 weeks. I love how my body looks after this procedure and you cannot tell I've had work done as I am I'm proportion. Obviously you can tell a little when I am in underwear or swimwear but my breasts are natural looking just alot more full now and they fit my body so well. I would recommend getting a body cream that helps with stretch marks and a scar cream which you can start to apply after 2nd check up and the tape is off (double check with the nurse first) I use Palmas coco body cream. I still use this daily as it helps with keeping the skin moisturised and I massage my scars daily to make them soft. I can now lay on my front when sleeping and have been to the gym and swimming. The pain post op was minimal and I mostly used one of the prescribed pain killers at night to sleep better. I went from a B to a D and I am 5 foot 7 and 9 stone 10, size 10 to 12. Weight of implant was 320. I would recommend going with Mr Banwells advice on the sizing depending on what look your after. I can honestly say this was a very good decision and worth every penny. I am much more body confident. This surgeon is personally highly recommended based on my experience.

MARK HO-ASJOE, MBBCH, FRCS(PLAST) - A NEW YOU REVIEWS
Mole removal. I had a mole removal process about 3 months ago. On the whole I was very happy with the service, procedures and results. I found my practitioner very courteous and thoughtful as I unfortunately suffer a great amount of anxiety and was a bit of a needy patient. She couldn't have been kinder. I am happy with the results, the moles along my jawline have been reduced by at least 90% in size and are no longer coloured. I will be having more removed in future and am happy to recommend A New You.
Staff are friendly, approachable and professional, with years of experience. The premises are clean and well appointed. It was my first treatment at A New You but I was welcomed as a valued client. My only reservation is that at my follow-up appointment, the final treatment did not quite produce the result I had hoped for.
Excellent bedside manner; they provide the latest industry advice and will not recommend procedures they feel inappropriate to you even though you are requesting a particular service. I trust them implicitly.

NORA NUGENT, MB BCH BAO, FRSCI (PLAST) - THE MONTEFIORE HOSPITAL REVIEWS
Nora Nugent is an incredible surgeon who makes you feel at ease but more importantly your welfare/care is her top priority. She also gives you realistic outcomes of what is possible and what it cannot achieve depending on your personal circumstances. Understated talented surgeon.
Ms Nora Nugent give an extensive range of cosmetic procedures for both men and women to reduce the effects of ageing.
In early August 2021, I had bilateral breast reduction and lift with Dr Nugent at Purity Bridge clinic. Two months later, I was on a Greek island swimming in the warm sea, loving life again. After three years of avoiding putting on a swim suit, I decided I was unwilling to give up something I enjoyed doing all my life. A thyroid problem combined with menopause plus a year of Covid lock downs played havoc with my body. I've always been fit and exercised regularly but this was not enough and I decided to turn to Dr Nugent for help. From the pre-op appointments, the actual operation which did not include an overnight stay and the follow-up check ups, everything was professional, extremely well managed and of the highest standards. Dr Nugent is super talented. I love the end result and the fact scars are healing so well is a testament to her skills. Dr Nugent and her whole team are caring, making you feel safe and you know, you are in good hands. They listen, they communicate well and are very experienced. For any women out there who have have lost confidence in their bodies, dread trying on clothes that no longer fit, have given up doing things they love and wish they could turn back the clock, I say go talk to Dr Nugent. I am so glad I took the decision to do this and will for ever be grateful to Dr Nugent and her team. Getting my body back was such an incentive to stay fit, lose even more weight and embrace life once more. Who said we can't turn back the clock.
