Andrew helped us with a small house we are renovating. Firstly, he fitted a new hot-water system for us since the last one was from the dark ages. We discussed the bathroom, really dated but so small it was difficult to imagine what could be done with it. Andrew suggested making it a shower only and fitting a combination toilet sink and repositioning the room to create more space. Andrew shared photos of some of his previous work which all looked great and estimated a price which was very competitive so we agreed and pretty much left the design to him. Communication was great and Andrew started within a couple weeks, working with his team on their own with a key to come and go since the place was unoccupied. We could not be happier with the finished result and never imagined our tiny bathroom could look so nice. Shower pressure is amazing thanks to the new hot water system and the attention to detail is superb. In a world of cowboy builders, it is refreshing to know that you can still find reliable, honest and professional tradesman like Andrew. Highly recommended.

Called needing a plumber to sort a boiler that had a fault. Super prompt and brilliant service. Had tried 4 plumbers prior including a national chain that just messed me around. The boss listened, told me one of his plumbers would come and see the issue. He was there within 90 mins. Super nice, reassuring and sorted it. Could’t recommend them highly enough.

My boiler was 15 years old and broke down for the umpteenth time and needed changing. Within 2 working days of contacting AJ Barnes, Patrick had fitted a new Worcester 4000 combi boiler. We contacted Mitch after having an unexpected boiler failure requiring a new boiler. Mitch was quick to respond to our plight. Mitch gave a very competitive quote for the installation a Worcester boiler with a 10 year guarantee. Mitch was able to help in a timely manner which was amazing as being without hot water and heating is pretty uncomfortable! He even offered to fit it whilst we are away on holiday so we could come home to heating and hot water. We chose however to have it fitted once we got home and we are glad we did purely because it was an absolute pleasure to have Mitch in our home. He was very efficient, he got the job done to a very high standard in the time frame he had given us. He was extremely tidy in his work and checked with us throughout that we were happy with his installation. He made sure his installation and programming of the boiler would give us the most cost and energy efficient supply. He then took the time to show us how to use the boiler and he completed all the paperwork and registered our boiler for us for the warranty. He also reduced our bill for anything that he didn’t end up needing to use. Mitchell is a very professional, genuine and nice chap ! He clearly is passionate about his trade and we would recommend him to anyone needing a plumber !

Was a really excellent service from start finish. On time, got straight on with the job and went above and beyond what was ask. Really friendly and nothing was to trouble. Will be recommending to anyone and everyone. Thanks for a great job.

He came and isolated our leak, gave us peace of mind and reassurance to what was needed to be done, very pleased !!

Excellent service and communication outstanding! Made it so stress free after identifying the problem with the mixer shower! Shane was professional, quick and efficient throughout replacing shower and replacing kitchen tap. Very reasonable price. Highly recommend and will definately use again for sure.Thankyou so much, happy customer.

If only everything could go this smoothly. Leaking toilet bowl and leaking toilet cistern, one of those awkward concealed cisterns as well. Rich popped round one day to diagnose the problem and popped around again just a couple of days later to fit new cistern workings and replace the bowl. No mess, no fuss- top job.

What fantastic service I have received from Rich today. The water pressure was so low in my bathroom that the shower wouldn’t work, which was due to a build up of debris in the taps. Quickly repaired and a good price. Highly recommend.
