EGO AT THE PUNCHBOWL REVIEWS

We have just dined at Ego on a Tuesday steak night for 3 birthdays mum, daughter and Granny all within a week! Definitely picked the right restaurant. Food was fabulous as usual and the service was amazing. Our waitress was extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. She even named the perfume I was wearing! The extra touch at the end of the meal was a lovely surprise for us and very much appreciated. Well done Ego. It’s the little things that keep your customers returning and obviously the great food.

A really nice popular restaurant. We took advantage of an offer for Wednesday's, two courses for two for £30 which is good value. The staff were great, friendly, and took their time with my daughter allowing her to order her own food. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, very warm and welcoming. This was the second time we have been and the food has been absolutely amazing on both occasions. Would recommend and will be going back.

Delicious food as always! Service was excellent, Emily was welcoming, attentive, responsive and attentive. Not overbearing but never too far way when we needed her. She managed our party of 12 expertly, all the dishes arrived promptly together on both courses. Changing a dish was no problem at all, thanks. All of the serving team were friendly and helpful, a credit to the restaurant. Well done Emily and the team, you made our special evening all the more enjoyable.

THE NAGS HEAD REVIEWS

Just been to eat at The Nags Head and the food was delicious, fresh, plentiful and great value. Was very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed it. Salmon was cooked to perfection and coleslaw was fresh and it seemed made in house, yummo! My partner had the Jerk Chicken and Rib and it was huge. Can also recommend the Korean BBQ sauce, it was divine. Staff were very friendly and pleasant and we didn't have to wait very long for our food at all, just right. Would highly recommend :D.

We had the best day for my husbands 40th all the staff were amazing especially Mandy, nothing was too much trouble for her. Mandy and the staff made the day feel special even helping with the birthday cake. Food here was amazing too. thanks for a fab day.

We had a Celebration of Life for my aunt recently and the staff went out of their way to make it a very memorable event. I cannot thank them enough for the hospitality and special assistance we needed with the use of their tv and extension cord. Definitely pleased we had it there, and thank you to all the staff! My friend and I went for lunch and a catch up and we had a great time at the meadows. We had hunters chicken and gammon and both dishes were delicious thanks to the chef Lucy, we couldn't fault it! We were served by Annie and Fay and both ladies were so pleasant and accommodating, big thank you to you both. Overall very pleased, excellent value for money and the staff are an asset to the place. Will be our new regular for a meet up for sure.

Absolutely great place. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is very yummy and a variety of drinks to choose from. Been here multiple times, even joined a Pub Quiz one time! oh and there’s a pool table which is always fun.

Lovely staff great service.the food was spot on and well presented.would recommended to anyone .inside and outside seating ,and dog friendly .
