A different level. By far the best take away I’ve experienced in Formby. Deliciously succulent lamb chops. A beautifully spicy Masala. Fresh, tasty, succulent, unlike almost all other venues with their tasteless dry homogeneous offerings. This place stands apart and will be a weekly treat. Yes, it’s pricier than elsewhere but the quality of their food justifies it. And the delivery guy and lady on the phone were both exemplary. Every other restaurant or take away in Formby I’ve experienced doesn’t come remotely close. 10/10.

I had a fantastic Indian dining experience here. The samosa chaat, tandoori paneer, chola, and naan were absolutely out of this world. The flavors were incredible and left a lasting impression. Other dishes like the veg momos, paneer tikka masala, and chicken were also really good. Overall, a great meal with delicious food! Highly recommend.

The best Indian food I've ever tasted. Very tasty and good quality food Waitress very pleasant and helped with choosing dishes. Would recommend the dosa - a bit pricey for what it is but very tasty. Highly recommended. Plenty of gluten free options.

We've been ordering from Lal Qila for about 6 weeks. The banquet for 2...tasty, fresh & decent portions. The meat thali, again another great meal. However, best meal last night. Usual poppadoms & the pickle tray. Starter, tandoori platter for 2....have these every week. We've had a variety of mains, last night we had the Lamb Kerala & Chicken Tikka Pathia. We haven't had a bad meal last nights is definitely our favourite.

Fantastic food, good portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Service was prompt and will definitely be returning soon.

Quiet when we visited, did not have to make a reservation. This meant the staff were extra attentive. Lovely food.
