Lovely Sunday lunch here yesterday, including sirloin steak for my wife and pork belly roast for me. Delicious! Very nice surroundings and excellent, courteous, hardworking staff too.

What a great meal today, strangely today I had the vegan option. The celeriac steak, which whilst it was a delicious dish, it was less of a steak and more of a chunk I embellished it with a side of mac and cheese. Starters were the sticky chicken and the goats cheese. SWMBO had the linguine for main. I finished with a Sicilian lemon tart. It has been a good while since we were last here, but we have never had a bad meal here.

I’ve always loved the Devon Doorway! The staff are lovely, the food is top notch, and the place has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. On my most recent visit I was looked after by Alex, Ewan and Anna, who all went above and beyond to make my visit special and enjoyable. My main meal and dessert were both absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I chose sea bass, followed by sticky toffee pudding with rum. The sea bass was beautiful, and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever had. I could really taste the rum! My thanks to the chefs, Dave and Andy. Thank you all, and I look forward to my next visit.

I've been coming here for many years, I remember when we used to have our lunch in the bar. Over the past few years it has really expanded quite a bit, especially when they built the new conservatory on the side and extended outdoor seating and car park. I brought my walking group here today and they all ordered different meals and all 8 of them commented that they were all excellent. That's not good luck that's talent. I would recommend the Chicken Mughlai and the Steak and ale pie.

Absolutely best roast dinner. I'd given up finding a roast with proper gravy, lean meat, crispy spuds and the best Yorkshire puds ever! but I found it. It's not cheap but if you want the best and not a ding bisto dinner then go here.

Our server was lovely, very helpful, and checked on us regularly even though they were busy. We didn't wait long for our starters, soup was delicious & the freshly baked bread was lovely. Garlic bread was like a small loaf of bread, very yummy. Main meals were amazing, burger, chunky chips, freshly made onion rings & creamy coleslaw, delicious. Fish, chips & mushy peas were great. Big portions, so we did not have dessert, but they did look appetising. Would highly recommend visiting this place, always busy so book before going.
